It's a tale of two Jason's on this episode of the Q. First up Jason Kull jumps back in, as well as Jason Patton returns to discuss the 2019 Government Shutdown that is continuing from last year.
First up the guys discuss the government shutdown and whether it necessary or not. Of course this is stemming from the President's need to fund a border wall on the southern US border and it requires 5 billion dollars according to Trump. Mark shoots back with the fact that its never the Northern Border, which also is Wall-less, that needs to be secured. And the reason for that being that Trump is tunnel visioned people from Mexico and attacking them as much as possible. All which he himself has done online through social media for years.
Then Jason Patton brings up whiskey and beer as a option to drink. But the convo turns towards bad beer and especially one that Jason tried that is supposed to taste of PINE CONE. A Pine cone flavored beer sounds disgusting and Jason explains whether it is or not.
And finally, the story of the young man that was a wrestler and had to cut his dreads because the ref asked him to during an match in front of the entire crowd. Was the ref in the right or wrong? Mark and Jason Patton are both Pro-wrestlers with experience in competitive wrestling. And Mark knows the Missouri State Wrestling Guidelines say nothing about any rule about hair on the body of anyone. So the world has been chiming in and so do the two Jay's and Marky B. But where do the guys stand...is this okay or a travesty!
All this and much more on the new Q! Happy New Years!

After a hiatus to better their lives and take a few week vacation, Mark and Bobby are back with author Matt Murphy to discuss Matt's upbringing in trailer parks and foster homes in North Eastern Missouri.
Next, Mark announces a huge opportunity for the Q as they have been tapped to broadcast throughout South Africa on CliffCentral.com . Bobby takes to this news to heart and decides he wants to start speaking in the native tongues of South Africa.
Next up is the topic of this week. NFL player James Harrison decided that he was going to give back his kids participation trophies from their local sport teams. Kurt Warner, former STL Ram, also supports James thoughts on this decision too. This brings us to the Q and who would accept a participation trophy or not. Mark and Bobby get into a heated discussion because Mark refuses to just throw every parent that has no issues with Participation trophies under a bus.
Finally there is Overtime, where a man with a donut fetish writes into the show to get good advice on whether he should seek the help of a doctor or let the Doctors of Love on the Q give him sound advice.

Another amazing week and The Q has a packed show for the listeners. Mark Bland, Dan Walsh, Justin Deming (making his triumphant return) and Producer Bobby are not out to fail you in the least, so after lending out Chris Nagus of KMOV to go to John Carney's show for a bit, the guys bring him back like a rented movie. Chris jumps on the show to discuss the story he broke of a lady in St. Louis, MO that watched in horror to find out her house was the scene of a mass murder, on a TV show.
Then Bobby decides to surprise Mark and everyone with a visit from WWE Wrestling Legend Bushwacker Luke who is living in the city of Tampa and enjoying his later in life antics. Needless to say, Luke is a treat to have on the show and one of the more interesting interviews the guys have had the pleasure of talking to.
Finally Sam Arcobasso has a dream and that dream is to have STL (and the midwet by default) become the new center for amazing porn movies. Sam and his lady friend come onto the Q to discuss what drove him to attempt this venture at 23; What the ins and outs (lol) of making a production are; And, where the future of the industry lies and if Dan Walsh could become a superstar in the world of porn. A very fun interview you don't want to miss.
Plus OVERTIME and all the great things you look forward to from a show that is taking talk radio and turning it up to 11!

She's back!!!!! Lucy Mendez of Dynamo Pro Wrestling and Resistance Pro Wrestling is back on the Q and Mark Bland has an issue with her. Lucy is the valet for a wrestler in STL named Ricky Cruz and Mark is in the middle of being at odds with this "piece of sh-t" (according to Mark).
On this weeks rants, Mark is taking it personal that the Hobby Lobby situation went down the way it did because it seems pretty obivous that the fix was in. Do you believe it was a good situation or not, listen and find out where you stand when its over. Plus Dan Walsh decides to speak to our growing asian audience with his "chinglish" and its becoming quite the strongest marketing to this new area that we have ever done.
Producer Bobby brings in a list of RADARONLINES the most controversial music videos of ALL TIME. The team breaks down the nuiansances of the artists and the videos. So who do you think made the list: Madonna, Nelly, R. Kelly or maybe even Michael Jackson? Sit back and enjoy as the guys and lady discuss this very interesting list. Are you with Bjork or against her might be the question of the year.
Finally there is letters from the listeners. Mark asks Lucy and the team what urban legend scares them the most. Some very interesting answers come out. And then there is OVERTIME after the main show. Dan expands on his urban legend answer, a few letters from the listeners and everyone chimes in on the Katy Perry/JOyful Noise lawsuit....we play the two songs back to back and you tell us if there is justifiable cause for a lawsuit.

We are talking professional wrestling on the show today. And without missing a beat, former Dynamo Pro Wrestling champion and MTV star Dan Walsh. Dan has been trying to get on the show for a bit and it just so happened that once scheduling worked out, it happened to be on a night Pro Wrestling talk.
First up is Vaughn Johnson of Philly.com . He covers the current state of affairs in Professional wrestling and decided to hook up with Mark, Dan and Producer Bobby to talk about Philly sports, WWE and what were some of Vaughn's thoughts currently and over the past year. Including Vaughn explaining his favorite moment and wrestling match from 2013.
Then the guys bring in one of the most versed people in the history of professional wrestling. David Shoemaker is a writer with DeadSpin and Grantland and the author of "Squared Circle: Life, Death and Pro Wrestling". He comes on to discuss the history of the sport and relay some of his more favorite stories he researched for his book. This includes an amazing story that David tells regarding Hulk Hogan and Harley Race. Its a story that blows the mind of the guys and leads to a discussion on the legitimate toughness of people in the business.
After all that fun, its time to get back to business and Mark discusses the entire "BridgeGate" situation and whether it will truly affect Chris Christie's attempt to become president of the US since he is the GOP front runner currently. Then right into this weeks GAME ON/GAME OFF. Plus a HUGE Overtime (starts on the download as soon as the outro song finishes playing) where Dr. Dan gets his first taste of Letters from the Listeners and Christopher Walken makes a special appearance.

On this amazing episode of the Q, its Christmas time and Mark/Bobby love nothing more than to give the gift of audio gold....they succeeded this week! Mark and Producer Bobby welcomed living comic book superhero BOLT BRADY (Professional Wrestler) on the show and he brought along his friend JORDYNNE GRACE (also a Pro-Wrestler). Brady, Grace, Bobby and Mark get into a discussion of their wrestling backgrounds and that turns into a discussion about Austin, TX and what life is like growing up in that part of the country.
Then it is on to a game of GAME ON/GAME OFF where each week Mark, Bobby and the guests discuss things that are potentially unknown to the populace and they try to inform and let you know what to be on the look out for, or something that they feel is important to tell you. And in this case JORDYNNE nails it from downtown. The boys try to match up with their picks, but unfortunately, Ms. Grace pulls the trigger and lets the honesty fly....especially in the GAME OFF!
After a amazing visit with those two, Mark and Bobby switch gears to discuss the conspiracy theories that surround the 1 yr anniversary of the Sandy Hook shootings. Unbeknownst to Mark, Bobby is one of the theorist and he sits back to listen and discuss the value of a conspiracy theory and whether they are relevant. Finally, Mark is unhappy with the year end album lists from all the big music players and thinks he has it better (don't they all). He breaks down the Top 10 albums of 2013...find out if your is on the list! Plus a little OVERTIME after the credits roll on the show.

Its another swing around the old Pro-Wrestling game again for Mark and his guest Jovan Bibbs! The two men, along with producer Bobby, welcome Impact Wrestling Superstar AUSTIN ARIES to the Q to discuss his career inside and outside the ring. Discussing Austin's eventual plans after the wrestling business to hopefully break into the music business. Plus a little tug of war trying to get Austin to discuss potentially winning a title in another company and the unique answer he gives to that plight. Plus the men talk about their favorite tag teams growing up and memorable moments from their wrestling childhoods.
Then it is full stream ahead with The Q. Syria decides in a weird turn of events to just turn over Sarin gas weapons to Russia after a couple weeks of the USA explaining that they are thinking of a military strike. Then a discussion on a new show making some noise on the boob tube called "Under the Dome" and a chit chat about Jovan, Mark and Bobby's favorite TV shows ensues, including a show called Doomsday Preppers..
Mark and Jovan talk about playing in a charity basketball a few months back and how Mark completely dominated the competition (sigh). Finally they talk about Jovan's career as a comic and some of the perils of being in the comedy business. Also, some discussions on questions that white people have for black people and vice versa. Throw in a smidge of Letters and questions from the listeners and you have yourself an action paced show. Sit back and enjoy the new episode of The Q!
Big Bobby jumps back into the co-hosting seat for another jaunt into the MOD/LIB (swing voter) political world. And boy do the guys have a little bit to talk about.
Seems as though Barack Obama wants to take some missiles, point them at Syria and launch. This all comes on the heels of Syria deciding to use sarin gas against their own people (allegedly). Obama clearly drew the red line a year ago and now he is implementing that aspect and being a man of his word (something the Conservatives hate). Mark and Bobby decide to take on the entire Syria discussion and flush out whether this is a good idea or not. Will it lead to potential World War with Russia chomping at the bit behind the scenes? We will have to see.
Also, Bill Delaney joins the guys to discuss the list of movies coming out this fall and the fact that one of Hollywood's greatest legends is deciding to quietly hang up saddle and retire from acting.
Also there are letters from the Listeners and a strange story regarding a man and his need to use feces while sorting things out with his significant other. Plus Mark and Bobby delve into a discussion about their children and things parents should and shouldn't focus on as they get bigger. Including a couple stories about the first time their children ever got hurt (accidentally of course).
Taking talk radio and turning it up to 11, this is the Q!
For the first time since their show together for the FOX affiliate in St. Louis, Mark, Matt K. and Andy E. are back together behind the microphone to take on the biggest stories (and kinda interesting ones) of the week.
With many a person working two jobs in the USA, the US Gov has decided to potentially raise the minimum wage. This has irritated the conservative businessmen of America and they are out in full force against the raise in pay. So our esteemed panel of hosts and guests will talk about the plan increase and what it means to all the hardworking people of the country.
Then, fresh off the heels of the Trayvon Martin case in Florida, a Missouri man decides to put property rights and defending yourself to the test as he shoots and kills a man for peeing on his property during a break on a float trip on the Meremec River. Was the man in his rights to defend his property or was this a case of mistaken machismo that went wrong. Two Conservatives and a Moderate/Liberal will discuss and break down all the angles for you.
Also, our favorite angry homosexual movie critic decides to bring the thunder on Pacific Rim and Warm Bodies. So where does Bill stand on these precious gems from Hollywood...tune in a listen to him take a couple shots at the works of art.
It's been a hectic week in the good ole US of A and the social media/Internet is buzzing with the verdict of George Zimmerman in the death of Trayvon Martin. So what does Mark go and do? He brings in two of his more verbally astute guests to break down one of the most talk about trials in the past 20 years. First up is the FORMER MILITARY VETERAN (the joke never gets old) Jeremy Bailey to temper the blade of the next guest....Travis Cook. That's right!
Travis and Jeremy return for the first time together since their infamous Cook/Bailey debates. And Travis doesn't disappoint his Tea Party beliefs and backing regarding the trial of Zimmerman. The gentlemen discuss the ins and outs of the surrounding information and eventual NOT GUILTY verdict.
But why stop there, the state of Arizona has a nice little Solar Panel fiasco that has decided to rear its ugly head and it has Mark in a tizzy trying to figure out where this country is going when they allow people to save money, but when they save too much money, they start charging them again to offset the savings. Its capitalism at its worst and the discussion slowly transforms from that into Travis' discussion regarding his latest AEG episode called affectionately "SCREW THE POOR". Jeremy takes the bait and Travis/Jeremy begin a class war discussion for the history books.
Not a slow minute in this great episode of the show, plus all the typical favorite sections are here, albeit truncated for your listening pleasure. It's the Q...Real Radio, Real Honest!
