It's been a hectic week in the good ole US of A and the social media/Internet is buzzing with the verdict of George Zimmerman in the death of Trayvon Martin. So what does Mark go and do? He brings in two of his more verbally astute guests to break down one of the most talk about trials in the past 20 years. First up is the FORMER MILITARY VETERAN (the joke never gets old) Jeremy Bailey to temper the blade of the next guest....Travis Cook. That's right!
Travis and Jeremy return for the first time together since their infamous Cook/Bailey debates. And Travis doesn't disappoint his Tea Party beliefs and backing regarding the trial of Zimmerman. The gentlemen discuss the ins and outs of the surrounding information and eventual NOT GUILTY verdict.
But why stop there, the state of Arizona has a nice little Solar Panel fiasco that has decided to rear its ugly head and it has Mark in a tizzy trying to figure out where this country is going when they allow people to save money, but when they save too much money, they start charging them again to offset the savings. Its capitalism at its worst and the discussion slowly transforms from that into Travis' discussion regarding his latest AEG episode called affectionately "SCREW THE POOR". Jeremy takes the bait and Travis/Jeremy begin a class war discussion for the history books.
Not a slow minute in this great episode of the show, plus all the typical favorite sections are here, albeit truncated for your listening pleasure. It's the Q...Real Radio, Real Honest!
On this episode titled "Fallout", that is exactly what we are dealing with. Jeremy comes back on the show a week after his legendary one-on-one with Travis Cook to discuss the amounts of hate mail the show received (all from angry Conservatives that like "Hanging that POTUS from the HIGHEST TREE possible") after Travis' somewhat veiled racist comments at the end of the debate. Also, Justin has some things to get off his chest regarding the Boston Marathon Bombings, so he discusses the fallout of that too. But eventually all bets are off as we all discuss the potential rights/wrongs of smoking bans and why company's have to buy liquor licensing and things like that.
Its a raucous episode of the Q and the OVERTIME doesn't dissappoint as the gentlemen do a few more minutes discussing the top 3 movies for them respectively in the 1990's and 1980's.
TAKE OUT BIG BIRD! Wow the sh-t hit the fan this past show when Mark is joined by Matt Krueger and noted conservative John Scheper to discuss the recent presidential debates and how Mitt Romney decided to fire off a few rounds in the direction of PBS and their figureheads (one being the BIG YELLOW BIRD!). But the fun didn't only come from there! Mark was joined early in the show by Fred Slow of Too Heavy to Skydive to discuss the upcoming Krista Roberson benefit in Alton and Mark breaks down sports...much to Fred's dismay! Taking talk radio and turning it up to 11! Real Radio, Real Honest...its the Q!
Matt Krueger stops by to join the fray as we sit down and talk shop with TNA Superstar James Storm! James discusses his early days in the business and swaps stories with Mark (a former wrestler of sorts). He also makes a move for THE Q's #1 sponsor American Patriot Beer! Plus, in a very unprecedented move, and because we love our fans more than anything, James answers direct questions from the fans. You won't get that on any other broadcast, including wrestling broadcasts!
But the fun doesn't stop there. Mark still has problems with the conservatives for picking on Pizza restaurant owners and then Mark says one of the more controversial things (really ain't that bad, unless you HATE Obama) ever on the show. And finally, what is LEGAL currently that people feel should be ILLEGAL....find out all this and more on this edition of THE Q. Taking talk radio and turning it up to 11!
On this Episode of THE Q we talk PRO-WRASTLING! Mark is joined by the almighty team of Matt Krueger from the podcast Savage Vibrations and Justin D of LIFE IN GENERAL!
The plan is to discuss WWE, TNA, ROH and all things wrestling related. But of course, Mark isn't able to stick to that topics alone! Eventually a correlation between John Cena and Conservatives is some how made. Regardless, Mark then takes a call from the man pictured here named BRAD (pic above). Thats when the nazi loving hatred towards Mark and The Q begins. Plus we get a visit from Hulk Hogan! So sit back relax and enjoy this wonderful episode of the show. We know you will not be disappointed!
And as always, sponsored by delicious and full flavored AMERICAN PATRIOT BEER!
