It's been a bit but Andy Echele, the former co-host of Absolute Wrestling Radio, brings his unique and direct brand of opinionation back to the Q. And what a perfect time for it too. Mark dusts off the old Tournament of Pop Culture and decides to break down the BEST DRUG MOVIE EVER for your listening enjoyment. Of course the classics make the list like Goodfellas, Scarface and Cheech and Chong.....but are they good enough to outlast and win the best of all time?
But before all that fun starts, Mark has to rant! Walmart has 50 check out lanes and Sams club has 20, but the number of checkers to lanes is not proportianate and sends Mark on a fuel rage because of the lack of common sense within the Walmart family in general.
Plus this past week, some secret documents got leaked out of Panama regarding the offshore accounts and assets of some of the worlds most power people. This has sent the world into a small tizzy, costing the president of Iceland his job and definitely catching the ire of potentially the most dangerous man in the world, Vladamir Putin. Mark and Andy discuss the impact and the eventual fallout if any. Plus Mark gives what he thinks is the US stance on all of this.

So the year of 2015 starts off on a sobering note. Stuart Scott, the great sportsanchor of ESPN, passes away from cancer at the age of 49. So Andy Echele jumps onto the show to discuss this. The guys discuss what Stuart Scott meant to them and how the world of ESPN styled sportscasting goes. Including Andy breaking out his old school phrase he used for Combat Showcase.
Next Mark goes on one of his famous rants about Walmart and the inability of our society to learn from simple things and act accordingly. Evidently they don't ptu enough energy drinks of a certain style in the local Walmart cooler cases and this sends Mark on a tirade about the cooler cases and other places/situations that no one thinks about until after the fact.
Finally the crew gets into a discussion about how Mark is noticing more people since the Ferguson riots complaining about "White Privilege" and what it means to three white people who could potentially be accused of it at moments notice. Also, Mark discusses his some of his stereotype pet peeves and who should, or shouldn't, be allowed to do certain things. This brings out everyone throwing their issues about many people out in the open. So sit back, turn on the laptop, bring up your spreadsheet and listen to the newest epsisode of The Q.
Brittany Maynard is 29 years old and has a terminal brain disease. She has decided that on November 1, 2014 she will end her life in Oregon with a pill that is allowed to be taken in the state as a part of self euthanasia. No doctor can help her, but they are allowed to be present during the moment. Maynard moved her entire family from San Francisco up to Oregon to take advantage of the law that allows her to proceed with such a decision. Well on the heels of this situation, the discussion about people being allowed to take their own life as long as the decision is made by them of sound mind, is now back in the national spotlight and The Q crew takes it on directly. Where do you stand on people taking their own life? Listen and hear the emotional discussion that accompanies this story.
Also the team talks about Marks unbelievable WALMART trip that ended with him yelling at a store manager....listen and find out how badly (legitimately) a store employee stepped over the line of decency and couthe. Plus this leads to a discussion about other cast members bad experiences in places of business. See who has had it bad in the past!
Finally we get a visit from our favorite world leader (who also tends to be drunk) Vallory Putin [sic], Bobby has another game of "When was this" and the guys/lady discuss some of the urban legends and unsolved mysteries that have enthralled them over the years. And don't forget OverTime!

Matthew Krueger decides to jump in and work out a great show with Mark and Producer Bobby as the men talk about Politics to start off. Matt wonders why LEFT and RIGHT wing are designated that way as Mark tries to help him understand. This leads to discussion about a disagreement on Facebook that Mark and Matt had regarding politics and the situation with everyone throwing a fit about the new Miss America being of Indian descent.
Then with Halloween being the next major holiday to pop up for our nation, it seems as some people got a stick up their butts about a Walmart Halloween prop that seems to emulate animal cruelty....what is our country coming to! Mark and Matt then Wax poetic about their time working together at a Spirit Halloween store and how Matt would scare the bejezus out of people while dressed as Freddy!
Mark then gets serious for bit discussing some new rules that senator Diane Feinstein is trying put in place regarding journalism and media in the US. Its called the Media Shield Law and its purpose is to set the parameters in some sort of fashion regarding real journalism and hobbyist. Something Mark has talked about on his show many times, but never to the extent that this law is about to be imposed. Everyone has an opinion on this and its interesting to hear to say the least.
Then in a final topic swing, everyone tries to tackle the new California minimum wage decision to raise the minimum wage to the highest in the USA. All having come from various backgrounds in life, everyone has their own ideas of whether this is a good or bad idea. And then of course it's time for Letters and Questions from the Listeners.
Its time for the Q....taking talk radio and turning it up to 11!
