Brittany Maynard is 29 years old and has a terminal brain disease. She has decided that on November 1, 2014 she will end her life in Oregon with a pill that is allowed to be taken in the state as a part of self euthanasia. No doctor can help her, but they are allowed to be present during the moment. Maynard moved her entire family from San Francisco up to Oregon to take advantage of the law that allows her to proceed with such a decision. Well on the heels of this situation, the discussion about people being allowed to take their own life as long as the decision is made by them of sound mind, is now back in the national spotlight and The Q crew takes it on directly. Where do you stand on people taking their own life? Listen and hear the emotional discussion that accompanies this story.
Also the team talks about Marks unbelievable WALMART trip that ended with him yelling at a store manager....listen and find out how badly (legitimately) a store employee stepped over the line of decency and couthe. Plus this leads to a discussion about other cast members bad experiences in places of business. See who has had it bad in the past!
Finally we get a visit from our favorite world leader (who also tends to be drunk) Vallory Putin [sic], Bobby has another game of "When was this" and the guys/lady discuss some of the urban legends and unsolved mysteries that have enthralled them over the years. And don't forget OverTime!

Fake outrage is the thing on the interwebz today and unfortunately Mark, Bobby, Lucy and Dan deal with it a lot on the Q. In fact if it weren't for fake outrage from the political spectrum, the chances of the Q being successful are slim to none. But it exists and Mark has had it up to here with it on social media, the web and in the media. Mark discusses how there is a constant stream of it and how this played into the current situation in Ferguson, with ISIS and many other aspects of life in 2014.
Also on the show, an actress from the movie Django Unchained, Daniele Watts, was acosted by the police in outside a hollywood soundstage and once again the video went viral of the interaction with the police. But thats not the only one...a Fire Fighter from Oakland was also involved in a officer called situation that made the news and it was stated that it was "racially motivated". These two incidents have audio and video the team breaks down on the show to discuss whether the current rash of "against the police" feelings are justified. Are the police out of control or is it just a situation of fake outrage playing into the heads of people since the Ferguson situation.
Finally Producer Bobby and Mark bring up a movie they recently watched called "Gods Not Dead". Mark, Dan and Lucy discuss with Bobby the virtues of Christian based movies. This leads to a much deeper and longer discussion about the virtues of Religion in 2014 and where some of the stories come from within the bible and then it takes a turn for the serious. Mark decides to present a somewhat controversial view from a religious aspect in regards to some of the bigger stories of the year. This leads to very in depth talk about religious values and how religion should view certain things based off the general beliefs taught in church. Definitely a interesting thing to hear and very thought provoking.

RIDICULOUS....it's all that can be said in regards to the new low and stupidity that Conservative congressmen have stuped to in their need to SUE THE PRESIDENT!
Mark, Dan and Producer Bobby discuss this situation in full breaking down the reasoning and potential future outcome of where this historic moment in US government will fall out. Even Dan, who usually is the biggest detractor of Obama, falls in agreement that this was not a good idea from the elected officials of our great nation. Listen in to find out what he believes should be done and how he thinks it will go.
But before all that jazz, Josh Ruebner from the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation joins the show to discuss the history and current stance of the Israeli/Palenstinian conflict. Mark explains that he brought Josh on specifically for the fact that many people get on social media and have heated discussions regarding which side of the conflict to stand on, without being properly introduced and informed to the history of it. The Q aims to fix that and get as much honest historical information out there so you are better set to make a good decision on who you side with, if you side with anyone at all.
Mark gets another piece of hate mail and reads it live on the air. And then for the public service announcement of the show, Mark and the guys rant on the new need for people on the internet to do these things called "Fire Challenges" and "Jackass" style stunts. They discuss why its a bad idea and how it can be more dangerous than people are thinking about.
Finally there is some Overtime and some letters from the listeners to entertain us all....It's the Q.....Real Radio, Real Honest!

On this Episode of the Q, Peter Van Lunen of STL E-Z Ticket joins the boys to discuss what he's been up to and how things have changed since the last appearance on the program in 2011.
First up is Mark's undying hatred for the stupidity of most conservative voters in the USA. Mark decides that he will take his anger out on the PBS TV show Caillou. But, no, truthfully Mark turns his attention to Local ST. LOUIS radio hosts that have decided to talk about politics without having a clue what they are talking about. Much less that, they don't even know the names of the world leaders as they crap all over the President of the United States and promote how awesome they think Putin is in comparison to Obama. Dan tries to interject and explain that these men are right to have the feelings they have and that turns into DAN WALSH vs. MARK BLAND live on the show.
Next Bobby is unhappy with the way people treat St. Louis, and he decides to let the people of the Gateway to the West have a piece of his mind! Then the guys switch gears and get into talking about moral dilemmas. They are those situations you are put into in life where you have to choose between two extremely difficult decisions that are predicated on your morals and ideals. And Mark brought in some doozies for the show. In fact the first one is so heavy that PRODUCER BOBBY will probably be at odds with his wife for many years, since Bobby threw her under the bus. Listen and watch a marriage implode in one sentence.
Finally the guys do a little GAME ON/GAME OFF on the live show and Bobby brings in a homerun for his game on. And we finish off strong with some OVERTIME and a new HATE MAIL you have to hear to believe. All this and much more on the Q!
