On this episode of the Q, you gotta strap in (on) cause we are gonna get sexual in nature. Professional counselor and sex therapist Lindsay Walden joins the guys for a romp through the world of mental disorders, sexual orientation and a little fun.
Walden is originally from Louisiana but has setup shop in the St. Louis area with her website and practice, Lindsaywalden.com . Lindsay discusses with Mark, Dan and Producer Bobby about the different names for sexual orientation and how valid they are in our culture today.
Also, the guys discuss the situation in Philadelphia where a Ku Klux Clan member is stripped of his neighborhood watch title because of his affiliation with the nefarious group as a Grand Dragon. This sends Mark and Dan on a discussion of whether the US military veteran deserved the decision and how he would react to a counselling session with Lindsay Walden. Hillarity ensues and Lindsay gets to the crux of his "issues".
Also Mark discusses the way police and public pools choose how and who they want to reprimand versus the common rules that they are supposed to play by on a day to day basis. And a major discussion of peanut allergies and their over the top application to everything now is really just a bunch of BS.
Finally in Overtime, Lindsay decides (upon his request), to give our Dan Walsh a little analysis of his problems with women and whether they are superficial or not. Download and hear what she says.

Mark, Dan and Bobby start off dicussing a little sports, but mostly a list of 10 stereotypes that people from Missouri apply to. Well this sends Mark and Dan off on their soapbox to discuss the stupidity of many hoosier Missouri people and their need to push that hoosier on others around them.
From there the shows really starts to pick up cause the guys are joined by World War 2 veteran and paratrooper James "Jim" Martin (pictured above). The 93 year old joins the guys to discuss what his beliefs on todays USA are, as well as his background in the military and what it was like during the second World War. Jim also discusses how tough his wife was when pregnant and that is a story you just do not want to miss. An amazing interview for the ages awaits.
Finally, the guys touch on Rush Limbaugh and discuss how Glenn Beck has decided to let everyone know that Liberals were right about the Iraw War. But not before Dan Walsh, Iraq war veteran himself, defends the Iraq War and the soldiers that were over there/are over there against the change in opinion that Mr. Beck has presented. Its called the Media Shield Law and its purpose is to set the parameters in some sort of fashion regarding real journalism and hobbyist. Something Mark has talked about on his show many times, but never to the extent that this law is about to be imposed. Everyone has an opinion on this and its interesting to hear to say the least.
Then in a final topic swing, everyone tries to tackle the new California minimum wage decision to raise the minimum wage to the highest in the USA. All having come from various backgrounds in life, everyone has their own ideas of whether this is a good or bad idea. And then of course it's time for Letters and Questions from the Listeners.
Its time for the Q....taking talk radio and turning it up to 11!
Time for the Q and this week Mark is joined by writer and sportscaster Ron Clements who comes in a on whirlwind of a news week.
First up is the discussion nationally about the Rodeo at the Missouri State Fair where a rodeo clown decides to put on a Obama mask as the announcer prods the audience into "seeing the president get run over by a BULL!" Needless to say this delves the nation back into the somewhat racial debate of people not liking Obama cause of "some reasons". The men discuss and figure out where the line should have been drawn and whether this is worthy.
Then the two switch gears and start discussing the their favorite TV shows a their love affair with Breaking Bad now that the series is coming to a conclusion. Not giving up anything but heavily discussing the past seasons as well as some shows that the two should each check out including new NETFLIX only series.
Finally its time for a discussion about a man that finds himself is a horrible predicament when he mistake his house for another spot that might turn out bad. All this and much more on the newest episode of the Q!
For the first time since their show together for the FOX affiliate in St. Louis, Mark, Matt K. and Andy E. are back together behind the microphone to take on the biggest stories (and kinda interesting ones) of the week.
With many a person working two jobs in the USA, the US Gov has decided to potentially raise the minimum wage. This has irritated the conservative businessmen of America and they are out in full force against the raise in pay. So our esteemed panel of hosts and guests will talk about the plan increase and what it means to all the hardworking people of the country.
Then, fresh off the heels of the Trayvon Martin case in Florida, a Missouri man decides to put property rights and defending yourself to the test as he shoots and kills a man for peeing on his property during a break on a float trip on the Meremec River. Was the man in his rights to defend his property or was this a case of mistaken machismo that went wrong. Two Conservatives and a Moderate/Liberal will discuss and break down all the angles for you.
Also, our favorite angry homosexual movie critic decides to bring the thunder on Pacific Rim and Warm Bodies. So where does Bill stand on these precious gems from Hollywood...tune in a listen to him take a couple shots at the works of art.
On this episode of The Q. Mark and Jeremy decide to fly the whole show by themselves discussing everything from what its like to be in the NAVY as well as the two guys horrible weeks. Car crashes and thunderstorms plagued the Midwest and these two were square in the middle of it as Tornadoes took out Mark's power and a wreck (without air bags deploying) almost took out Jeremy.
And the ranting doesn't stop there cause a Scripps National Spelling Bee champion was crowned and Mark doesn't like their introvert styles. Then it becomes a show about Hitlers when they talk about a Father of the Year candidate trying to get his custody rights back and a problem that JC Penny's is currently dealing with.
At this point Mark starts to take some Letters from the Listeners and one question in particular puts the show over the edge when Jeremy starts divulging a story from his military past. And a discussion regarding the recession puts Mark over the edge as he tries to explain how far we are from the economy being good again for the middle class and lower people.
Taking talk radio and turning it up to 11....its THE Q!
Mark and Justin are starting this weeks show off with the breakdown of the new budget plan proposed by the POTUS. Including raising the minimum wage to $9. All sound good and the guys discuss why Obama is so willing to work across the aisle since the way he was treated in the 2012 election by the vitriolic TEA PARTY and CONSERVATIVE members of Capitol Hill. This leads to discussion on the generational gap between the people that are hurting and the ones that have money. This leads to a letter from a listener about the whole "It takes a village mentality" that seems to be missing in 2013.
Then the discussion switches to new things that Mark Learned in the past week regarding everything from Mt. Everest to Mr. Rogers. And the two touch on the fact that Jeremy's challenge from Travis Cook was accepted.
Finally the show is rounded out by a discussion of Narcissism and Racism. The borderline vernacular people use to skirt their racist tendencies and where the line between a word that was once racist becomes desensitized to the population and becomes part of the common everyday speech.
Its time for THE Q....Taking talk radio and turning it up to 11!
