First up, Kevin Harvell of STL Tech Talk and Tech Informist joins the show to discuss tech and phones and Producer Bobby's love of hating the iPhone (errr wait....yep thats sort of correct). But he also jumps in to give his opinion on the big story out of McKinney, Texas (Dallas) where a pool party goes awry and the police are called in. All of which is fine as long as you are not one specific cop and his Lethal Weapon-esque style all caught on camera. The guys discuss the implications and the racial inequality discussion that came out after the fact.
Then we switch gears and talk with Gerogia Page calling in from Australia. Georgia put on the black and gold for Lindenwood Unversity (Mark's Alma Mater) and played Womens Rugby....which eventually led to her showing how dominate and tough she is through ESPN replaying her clip over and over in their Top Ten plays. Georgia takes a massive hit and keeps on trucking. We talk with her about the sport of womens rugby and Vegemite.
Finally Mark goes all in discussing soccer in the midwest and specifically the attitude of fans in 2015 with regard to soccer in the US. This brings up the attempts by some to bring Soccer back to prominence in the STL and Mark hits them all with a strong dose of reality only he can deliver.

Audio issues aside, we are rolling forward with the Q each week! On this epsiode of the show, Mark and Producer Bobby discuss the current situation of the shows syndication and why they are having problems finding a new home in STL.
From there the two radio veterans delve into the idea behind the United States and the education system as it stands after a story about a college student suing the school cause her testing situation was a little unfair...in her opinion. This of course leads to a much deeper discussion about schooling and standardized testing. Whay are so many other countries ahead of us.
Then a story about an oil company out of control as they try to sweeten land deals with teen prostitutes. Multiple times! Eventually the topic turns to the skyline of major cities in the United States and why other countries have some amazing city skylines and how we are behind the times in so many things in the USA.
Finally DUBSMASH is the new app everyone is infatuated with and Bobby is becoming a Dub smash superstar. After that discussion, the two sit down for a game called most awesomest thing in the universe...its a website that compares two things and you decide which is more awesome. Find out the matchups and play along at home to find out what wins!

Well Producer Bobby definitely let the cat out of the bag on this episode of The Q. When he gets a phone call about a champion wanting to come on the show, he jumps at the chance to surprise Mark and the team. But when the veil is lifted on the guest, it is none other than Dynamo Pro Champion Ricky Cruz! The bane of Mark's existence in the world of pro-wrestling.
Bland and Cruz immediately get off on a shaky start when their vitriol for each other is evident in their conversation. But Bland tries to push forward regardless of their dislike and discuss the upbringing and world of professional wrestling in Puerto Rico where Cruz hails from.
Then its time for business. Mark discusses the background of Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops and how he feels they are just fronts for a lifestyle as opposed to the go to spot for a specific need that you can't facilitate anywhere else. This leads to a discussion about hoosiers and their needs. Next up the peeps jump into discussing the recent city hall meeting that Ferguson held where people where up in arms about the situation regarding Mike Brown and the riots. You gotta hear where this goes.
Finally Mark, Dan, Ricky, Bobby and Lucy jump in head first into the Ray Rice domestic violence issue and how the NFL did or didn't do a good job handling the punishment of their athlete. But did Rice deserve the punishment in the first place? Was the NFL out of line for indefinitely suspending the Raven until further notice? And what about the fines/punishments levied against other NFL players in the past few years for potentially bigger or smaller (depending on your view) infractions.
All this and much, much more are waiting in this episode of THE Q!

Race relations are huge topic on the minds of everyone in the US during these two volatile weeks in Ferguson, MO after the shooting death of a young man by a police officer. But that's where all the other media outlets stop and The Q starts.
After watching hours of Town Hall meetings and Black/White race relations programming on news channels throughout the country trying to capitalize on the popularity of a sad story....Mark Bland has decided that ENOUGH WEAK DISCUSSIONS IS ENOUGH. The world is not going to get anywhere until the people can be blatantly honest with each other when discussing the topic of black/white relations in the US since Civil Rights. So he put a call into two of his friends to come on the show and discuss not only race relations, but to also take up the flag of defense for 2 hours and defend the black culture. First Mark is joined by Corey "Slo-Down" Edwards a former member famed music group The St. Lunatics. Coming from the rough streets of Wellston,MO to touring the world and eating the best foods available, Corey has done it all and seen what its like to be pushed around and then have those same people want your autograph.
Next Mark is joined by Darryl Frierson, the host of Straight Outta Lo Cash and a civil activist. When it comes to discussing Black and White opinions, Mark and Darryl have gone round and round on both his show and The Q discussing these things. Darryl is extremely opinionated and has spent a majority of the time, as well as Slo-Down, down in the Ferguson area during the protests of the past few weeks.
This show is NOT AN EASY LISTEN. Parental Discretion is advised. There are very adult oriented subjects on this show and no punches are pulled. These men are here to discuss on behalf their cultures the true crux of the issue between the two races. Prejudices are on the surface and the discussion is very deep and pointed. Please do not go into this show lightly.

Potentially the greatest night in The Q show history was made. Mark debuted a new co-host named Lucy Mendez and the guys from BaconFest in St. Louis stopped by with their HOG LOG!
First up, Mark welcomes Matt & Matt from Baconfest to come in and discuss, with their partner Chef John Johnson, the formulation of this young event. This leads through a weird world of BRORGIES™, kickball leagues and reacreations of epic mealtime stunts that lead to BACONFEST. Plus Chef Johnson brings in the amazing HOG LOG (bacon, Sweet Baby Rays BBQ wrapped in Sausage and re-wrapped in more BACON....YUM!). This sweet meat of the gods is delicious and will be one of the centerpieces for the upcoming event in STL!
The guys then switch gears. Lucy goes on a verbal tirade that lasts throughout the show. Constantly pushing the FCC boundaries with her dirty foul mouth. Also we discuss about the general that was killed with others in Iraq. We also talk about food shows and which ones are worth their weight in gold and which ones suck according to Chef Johnson.
Finally I need to get to some letters from the listeners and I'm super excited to have the double Matt's on to discuss. And per the request of Matt #2, we touched on the story of a high school teacher that showed up the first day a little intoxicated. This leads to a rant by Mark discussing the time period for school to start and stop in the US cause he feels it starts entirely to early. They all discuss their growing up respectively and when they started school.
And don't forget, OVERTIME is attached to this bad boy! It's the Q!.
On this Episode of the Q, Peter Van Lunen of STL E-Z Ticket joins the boys to discuss what he's been up to and how things have changed since the last appearance on the program in 2011.
First up is Mark's undying hatred for the stupidity of most conservative voters in the USA. Mark decides that he will take his anger out on the PBS TV show Caillou. But, no, truthfully Mark turns his attention to Local ST. LOUIS radio hosts that have decided to talk about politics without having a clue what they are talking about. Much less that, they don't even know the names of the world leaders as they crap all over the President of the United States and promote how awesome they think Putin is in comparison to Obama. Dan tries to interject and explain that these men are right to have the feelings they have and that turns into DAN WALSH vs. MARK BLAND live on the show.
Next Bobby is unhappy with the way people treat St. Louis, and he decides to let the people of the Gateway to the West have a piece of his mind! Then the guys switch gears and get into talking about moral dilemmas. They are those situations you are put into in life where you have to choose between two extremely difficult decisions that are predicated on your morals and ideals. And Mark brought in some doozies for the show. In fact the first one is so heavy that PRODUCER BOBBY will probably be at odds with his wife for many years, since Bobby threw her under the bus. Listen and watch a marriage implode in one sentence.
Finally the guys do a little GAME ON/GAME OFF on the live show and Bobby brings in a homerun for his game on. And we finish off strong with some OVERTIME and a new HATE MAIL you have to hear to believe. All this and much more on the Q!

TLC has been taking the time out of their normal TV stylings the past few years to try some unique programming....well one of those programs is called The Next Great Baker and we welcomed St. Louis natives Al Watson and Lia Weber who are representing on the newest season of the show. They discuss what its like to film a reality show and our Dan Walsh gives great insight from his years on MTV's Road Rules and the Challenges. Plus they talk with the two about working with the cake boss himself, Buddy Valastro.
Then we switch gears a little bit, because finally our guy Corey of Strange Donuts decides to join us and talk about what its like to have a successful donut company that also garners national attention on TV. We find out where his love of donuts comes from, how he found his partners to build the business and some of the less than stellar attempts at companies prior to the donuts taking off. Corey discusses his background in marketing and eventually Mark and Dan (with Producer Bobby against it) present him with their new sister company to the Donut shop. Find out what they call it.
Mark also decides that he has had enough with Cecil Whittakers Pizzeria in the St. Louis area and throws the gauntlet down. Have you ever been hit with a delivery charge from one of these delivery companies for a restaraunt? You would think that they are giving the delivery charge to the driver, but NOPE....and Cecil Whittakers is brazen about explaining their delivery charge is completely a bonus charge the drivers don't touch. Listen in to find out the stance and what everyone else thinks.
Finally a little bit of Dr. Dan on the main show and OVERTIME, when we decide to do a letter from the listener and discuss many other topics on this edition of the Q. Real RADIO, Real HONEST!
(right click and "save as" to D/L)
She's back!!!!! Lucy Mendez of Dynamo Pro Wrestling and Resistance Pro Wrestling is back on the Q and Mark Bland has an issue with her. Lucy is the valet for a wrestler in STL named Ricky Cruz and Mark is in the middle of being at odds with this "piece of sh-t" (according to Mark).
On this weeks rants, Mark is taking it personal that the Hobby Lobby situation went down the way it did because it seems pretty obivous that the fix was in. Do you believe it was a good situation or not, listen and find out where you stand when its over. Plus Dan Walsh decides to speak to our growing asian audience with his "chinglish" and its becoming quite the strongest marketing to this new area that we have ever done.
Producer Bobby brings in a list of RADARONLINES the most controversial music videos of ALL TIME. The team breaks down the nuiansances of the artists and the videos. So who do you think made the list: Madonna, Nelly, R. Kelly or maybe even Michael Jackson? Sit back and enjoy as the guys and lady discuss this very interesting list. Are you with Bjork or against her might be the question of the year.
Finally there is letters from the listeners. Mark asks Lucy and the team what urban legend scares them the most. Some very interesting answers come out. And then there is OVERTIME after the main show. Dan expands on his urban legend answer, a few letters from the listeners and everyone chimes in on the Katy Perry/JOyful Noise lawsuit....we play the two songs back to back and you tell us if there is justifiable cause for a lawsuit.

On this episode of the Q, you gotta strap in (on) cause we are gonna get sexual in nature. Professional counselor and sex therapist Lindsay Walden joins the guys for a romp through the world of mental disorders, sexual orientation and a little fun.
Walden is originally from Louisiana but has setup shop in the St. Louis area with her website and practice, Lindsaywalden.com . Lindsay discusses with Mark, Dan and Producer Bobby about the different names for sexual orientation and how valid they are in our culture today.
Also, the guys discuss the situation in Philadelphia where a Ku Klux Clan member is stripped of his neighborhood watch title because of his affiliation with the nefarious group as a Grand Dragon. This sends Mark and Dan on a discussion of whether the US military veteran deserved the decision and how he would react to a counselling session with Lindsay Walden. Hillarity ensues and Lindsay gets to the crux of his "issues".
Also Mark discusses the way police and public pools choose how and who they want to reprimand versus the common rules that they are supposed to play by on a day to day basis. And a major discussion of peanut allergies and their over the top application to everything now is really just a bunch of BS.
Finally in Overtime, Lindsay decides (upon his request), to give our Dan Walsh a little analysis of his problems with women and whether they are superficial or not. Download and hear what she says.

Its that time of year again as Fairs and get togethers become more common place! So with that, the Q decides to turn their attention to the upcoming Spirit of St. Louis Air show that is happening the weekend of May 3rd-4th.
First up Mark Sutherland with the 2014 Spirit of St. Louis Air Show joins Dan, Bobby and Mark to discuss being from England and all the amazing things that are going to be involved with the Air Show! Plus Mark and Bobby surprise everyone with an announcement of Producer Bobby getting a chance to ride up in the Blue Angels C-130 Plane nicknamed "FAT ALBERT"! You can find out more about the Air Show by going www.spirit-airshow.com/ .
After that CONSPIRACIES are abound as the guys start talking about a news story regarding asteroids striking earth and that sends Dan on a tangent about his theories on asteroids and doomsday stuff. But not to be outdone is Producer Bobby that comes back over the top to argue with Dan about the legitimacy of certain conspiracies. Not since Bland/Cook has it gotten so hot on the show as Mark plays moderator and we all listen as these battle on the conspiracy theory field for supremacy. So do you think 9/11 was an inside job.....find out where this amazing conversation goes.
We also get a visit from some old radio friends when DC CHYMES and FISH of the Fish and DC show come on (separately) to crackwise and talk about running races and partying so hard you get fired from your job! The show can be heard on the VIPER FM Monday thru Friday 3-7pm!
Finally we have some more Overtime where we continue on the Tournament of Pop Culture: 1990's Best Music Group/Artist OVERALL. Its part 2 and evidently Bobby wasn't paying attention. So tune in and enjoy the hilarity as the guys try to fix the mistake and still maintain moving on the BEST ARTISTS from an entire Decade!
