President Donald Trump decided to turn his ire towards the NFL and NBA this week. He tweeted out many tweets downplaying the NFL for their allowing of players to kneel during the national anthem. When the NFL found out, they took umbrage with it and decided to fight back and kneel or even avoid the national anthem outright. Was it right or wrong? Mark and Andy Echele discuss all the things surrounding this topic.
Also, Mark had an interesting week being attacked for absolutely no reason through a certain section of St. Louis' media community. Mark discusses why it was inappropriate to attack him and how the attackers were just wrong in their disseminating of information too. Plus there was a shooting at a 7-11 in Calirfornia with a police officer and assailant. Mark was asked his opinion on the videos and that set Mark off on a different direction totally regarding the way people handle video taping these interactions. What's the stance on this shooting...listen and find out!
HD REEVES jumps back on the show to tlak comedy and what going on in his life. The biggest story of the show is the two new police shootings that have to be discussed and Mark makes a plea deal, hopefully the world will listen....find out what it is.
Next up, HD and Mark decide to tackle the fact that Trump is starting to make a move in the polls and what it means for us as a nation. Plus HD has some great road stories and the guys read a letter from a listener which is always good too.

Race relations are huge topic on the minds of everyone in the US during these two volatile weeks in Ferguson, MO after the shooting death of a young man by a police officer. But that's where all the other media outlets stop and The Q starts.
After watching hours of Town Hall meetings and Black/White race relations programming on news channels throughout the country trying to capitalize on the popularity of a sad story....Mark Bland has decided that ENOUGH WEAK DISCUSSIONS IS ENOUGH. The world is not going to get anywhere until the people can be blatantly honest with each other when discussing the topic of black/white relations in the US since Civil Rights. So he put a call into two of his friends to come on the show and discuss not only race relations, but to also take up the flag of defense for 2 hours and defend the black culture. First Mark is joined by Corey "Slo-Down" Edwards a former member famed music group The St. Lunatics. Coming from the rough streets of Wellston,MO to touring the world and eating the best foods available, Corey has done it all and seen what its like to be pushed around and then have those same people want your autograph.
Next Mark is joined by Darryl Frierson, the host of Straight Outta Lo Cash and a civil activist. When it comes to discussing Black and White opinions, Mark and Darryl have gone round and round on both his show and The Q discussing these things. Darryl is extremely opinionated and has spent a majority of the time, as well as Slo-Down, down in the Ferguson area during the protests of the past few weeks.
This show is NOT AN EASY LISTEN. Parental Discretion is advised. There are very adult oriented subjects on this show and no punches are pulled. These men are here to discuss on behalf their cultures the true crux of the issue between the two races. Prejudices are on the surface and the discussion is very deep and pointed. Please do not go into this show lightly.

It is a sad time in the city of St. Louis and specifically a small section of the county called Ferguson where a young man's run in with the Ferguson police turned into a national story. Mike Brown was supposedly gunned down, unarmed, by a police officer and it set off outrage and rioting in the normally quiet STL suburb. The Q hails from STL and Mark the host is very closely related to the area in question cause that is where he and producer Bobby grew up in a neighboring city. With all that said, it was obvious that Mark, Bobby and Lucy were going to have to discuss this issue at length.
First up, Mark put in a call and got former St. Louis City Police Chief DAN ISOM to join the guys on the show and discuss what it is like to stand at the podium and handle a situation of this magnitude. Dan and the cast discuss the case of Michael Borwn, where it leads and what the potential outcomes are. Also they dive into the underlying problems with the lack of information coming out and how the public is viewing the Police departments at this time and whether that viewpoint is a correct way to view them. Plus the guys talk about race relations and the area of town where this is going on. A very in depth discussion on the show and worth every minute.
Finally....Tyler Crandall came on the show to discuss his new found success with the popularity of his "North County Song". Tyler joins the team to talk about his upbringing in North County (the county where Ferguson in located during this situation), what he likes and doesn't and to play the song live accoustically. And he finds a way to make peace with Producer Bobby who is not happy and tell everyone a story that is painful to hear.
All this and much more on the Q....Real Radio, REAL HONEST! And don't forget overtime after the credits roll for some more fun.
*There is choppy audio in the first 20 minute segment. It is annoying but not impossible to listen to.

Another week and another amazing rant from Mark Bland regarding the need for some men to handle themselves improperly while urinating in men's rooms. All the guys chime in and tell some juicy stories about the times that their bathroom experiences didn't go so well.
But the train don't stop there. Producer Bobby, Dan Walsh and Mark then announce the formation of TEAM Q for the upcoming Rollercoaster 5k being put on by Six Flags the first weekend in May. People can either run the 5k for prizes or RIDE the 5k equivalent in rollercoastering....OR BOTH. The Q is giving away spots to be on Team Q at the contest section of the website. If you love running and are interested, then visit and sign up!
Mark clears up some hard feelings regarding his opinion on an elementary school situation that happened in the St. Louis area. The guys then discuss Bobby's stories regarding a High School senior that wanted her baby to be involved in a high school yearbook photo, but the school removed it claiming it sends the wrong message. Also, with the Fort Hood massacre is fresh in peoples minds, a discussion on the base issues and what can be done ensues.
Finally its time for the NEXT Tournament of Pop Culture on the show. This time around, the guys tackle music and specifically 1990's music artists. It's such a huge category and so many need to be represented that they have divided this into 4 parts. Part one is on the show today and unfortunately this one is going to create some controversy. Who do you feel is the BEST ARTIST or GROUP overall from the 1990's music scene. Its all decided in Part 1 today!
Don't miss OVERTIME, specifically for the download only....it starts after the credits roll.

Podcasters everywhere! On this return from hiatus, Mark invites the guys from Wheel Barrow Full of Dicks to come on his show and join the weekly jaunt into the world of current events and politics (though this episode is sparse on Poli-Sci). He also put the vibe out to Matt Krueger to jump in and the men were off on an exciting adventure.
Mike and Nappier from WFOD start off explaining that they love being in the presence of "THE" Mark Bland (making sure that he adds the "THE") but before long Mark tackles a piece of ranting that he has fondness for...Podcasting vs. Broadcasting . But the conversation takes a weird turn when Mark starts to rant on a food choice that a co-host of WFOD has made when going to Jack in the Box.
From there the men tackle another couple news stories including the severe beating a 13 yr old took at the hands of some kids in Florida and the bus driver just sat there. Also there is a update in the Meremec River Shooting case and the dunking canoers might not have been so docile as they let on they were in the original stories. Ramping up the arguement for self defense and property rights that much more.
Then it is on to the next Tournament of Pop Culture! This time around on the 16-team elimination tournament, the BEST SUSUPENSE MOVIE of ALL TIME is tackled. Who made the list and who got cut? And will one of the contestants chime in for a unprecidented 3rd TOPC win over the past 3 years. Its never been done and this is definitely a powerhouse of a suspense movie. Find out if your favorite made the cut!
Taking talk radio and turning it up to 11! Its THE Q!
Well we made it to EPISODE 100 and we had a lot of fun things planned for the show....but then LIFE happened. A killer went into the elementary school in Newtown, CT and killed 26 people including 20 kindergarteners. I was a heart wrenching thing to see and hear about as it unfolded and by virtue of Mark's position on KYRO 1280am, it was necessary to put all the fanfare behind themselves and try to help a nation as it coped with unbelievable loss. Listen as camedian Matt Conty and Justin Deming join Mark in a very entertaining and interesting discussion surrounding the events that took place.
