Mark Bland and Gary Weed are both fans of Pro-wrestling. Mark has been a prowrestler in his life and had a career that took him all over the country. Gary is a lifelong fan and someone that understands the business in a solid way. With this being the basis....The Q presents....WRESTLETALK 35!
Wrestlemania 35 happened and Mark/Gary have a ton to discuss about it.
First up...Mark tells Gary he can ask him any question about the business and Mark will be very fair and openly answer the question. So Gary pulls the trigger and Mark attacks the answer like a someone giving a Stone cold Stunner in the middle of the ring!
Next Mark discusses his career and how he comes to becoming a prowrestler. How the job formed in his mind before he becomes a prowrestler. He specifically talks about 1996-1997 in his life and what he decided to try and get into professional wrestling. Mark discusses how the business was different back then and more picky and finicky about who they would let be a professional wrestler. Now days anyone can apply and get work wrestling in front of crowds.
Then Mark and Gary into discussing Wrestlemania 35 and how the show took forever to happen. After almost 7 straight hours of wrestling, Beck Lynch's hands were raised and barely anyone cheered because they were so tired and spent from the 7 hours of show. Plus how did Ronda's match play out? Who's matches went which way? And what was the best moments?
All this and much more on this episode of the Q!
Well it is the new year of 2017 and the guys on the Q have an amazing show lined up for you. First up is their guest retired prowrestler and amazing artist Dartallion Allen. Also known in wrestling as a Eric Allen, Dartallion joins in the show to fullfil Marks long legacy of bringing some personal buddies on the show and this one fills out the Trifecta! Dart discsusses his earliest influences and how he did some tryout work with Marvel. Plus Mark and Eric go down memory lane to remember exactly when they crossed paths for the first time.
From there, Jason Kull and Schep jump in handily for the discussion about Donald Trump and what is going on for this year. Mark has a list of predections he's calling now and many of them seem to have a common theme....listen in to find out what that is. Finally Mark and John have a good ole verbal tug of war regarding Scheps background in politics and when he decided enough was enough and went Republican.

After a hiatus to better their lives and take a few week vacation, Mark and Bobby are back with author Matt Murphy to discuss Matt's upbringing in trailer parks and foster homes in North Eastern Missouri.
Next, Mark announces a huge opportunity for the Q as they have been tapped to broadcast throughout South Africa on CliffCentral.com . Bobby takes to this news to heart and decides he wants to start speaking in the native tongues of South Africa.
Next up is the topic of this week. NFL player James Harrison decided that he was going to give back his kids participation trophies from their local sport teams. Kurt Warner, former STL Ram, also supports James thoughts on this decision too. This brings us to the Q and who would accept a participation trophy or not. Mark and Bobby get into a heated discussion because Mark refuses to just throw every parent that has no issues with Participation trophies under a bus.
Finally there is Overtime, where a man with a donut fetish writes into the show to get good advice on whether he should seek the help of a doctor or let the Doctors of Love on the Q give him sound advice.

Well Producer Bobby definitely let the cat out of the bag on this episode of The Q. When he gets a phone call about a champion wanting to come on the show, he jumps at the chance to surprise Mark and the team. But when the veil is lifted on the guest, it is none other than Dynamo Pro Champion Ricky Cruz! The bane of Mark's existence in the world of pro-wrestling.
Bland and Cruz immediately get off on a shaky start when their vitriol for each other is evident in their conversation. But Bland tries to push forward regardless of their dislike and discuss the upbringing and world of professional wrestling in Puerto Rico where Cruz hails from.
Then its time for business. Mark discusses the background of Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops and how he feels they are just fronts for a lifestyle as opposed to the go to spot for a specific need that you can't facilitate anywhere else. This leads to a discussion about hoosiers and their needs. Next up the peeps jump into discussing the recent city hall meeting that Ferguson held where people where up in arms about the situation regarding Mike Brown and the riots. You gotta hear where this goes.
Finally Mark, Dan, Ricky, Bobby and Lucy jump in head first into the Ray Rice domestic violence issue and how the NFL did or didn't do a good job handling the punishment of their athlete. But did Rice deserve the punishment in the first place? Was the NFL out of line for indefinitely suspending the Raven until further notice? And what about the fines/punishments levied against other NFL players in the past few years for potentially bigger or smaller (depending on your view) infractions.
All this and much, much more are waiting in this episode of THE Q!

Another amazing week and The Q has a packed show for the listeners. Mark Bland, Dan Walsh, Justin Deming (making his triumphant return) and Producer Bobby are not out to fail you in the least, so after lending out Chris Nagus of KMOV to go to John Carney's show for a bit, the guys bring him back like a rented movie. Chris jumps on the show to discuss the story he broke of a lady in St. Louis, MO that watched in horror to find out her house was the scene of a mass murder, on a TV show.
Then Bobby decides to surprise Mark and everyone with a visit from WWE Wrestling Legend Bushwacker Luke who is living in the city of Tampa and enjoying his later in life antics. Needless to say, Luke is a treat to have on the show and one of the more interesting interviews the guys have had the pleasure of talking to.
Finally Sam Arcobasso has a dream and that dream is to have STL (and the midwet by default) become the new center for amazing porn movies. Sam and his lady friend come onto the Q to discuss what drove him to attempt this venture at 23; What the ins and outs (lol) of making a production are; And, where the future of the industry lies and if Dan Walsh could become a superstar in the world of porn. A very fun interview you don't want to miss.
Plus OVERTIME and all the great things you look forward to from a show that is taking talk radio and turning it up to 11!

We have Pro-Wrestling in the air once again as Lucy Mendez and the women of Resistance Pro Wrestling join us to discuss their upcoming event and talk about their respective histories in the business.
First up is Resistance Pro Women's Champion Darcy Dixon to discuss her backgroundin the business. Coming out of North Carolina and working out with the legend Ric Flair as well as all of the great wrestlers that hail from the legedary southeast. Darcy goes into detail talking about being a female in the lockerroom and what her opinion is of indy workers that try to hit on her and other ladies while they are prepping for an event. Darcy also tangles verbally with Mark before challenging him to a match! Will it happen or not? Well it doesn't matter cause she has the second guest on her mind and in focus.
Mickie Knuckles is a well known female wrestler in the business, but her business is beating people down. And her biggest rival currently is Darcy Dixon. Mickie joins Mark, Producer Bobby and Dan Walsh to discuss her hatred for Darcy Dixon. She also jumps in to discuss a situation that went down in indy wrestling from a few years ago that she was involved in. And in the most impressive thing we have heard on the show in a bit, Mickie talks about growing up in Indiana and being on the male wrestling team in high school.
Finally, Lucy Mendez is also in Studio to discuss being a female wrestle. Lucy joins the guys for the current events section of the show. First Lucy breaks down who her favorite holloywood movie crushes are...and are not. Then its on to discussing guns and them being used in two different situations where people pulled them to scare others off. We discuss the merits of this and whether it should looked at as something to be taken into consideration while working on gun laws.
Finally we have another exciting GAME ON/GAME OFF . And Lucy rears her claws when discussing a section of the Latin culture that is definitely her game off. Also Overtime is attached to the end of the show and another round of advice letters awaits your ears.

MICK FOLEY the WWE Hall of Famer joins us to discuss his career in the squared circle as well as his new found love of touring around and story telling. Producer Bobby and Mark can't hold back their glee as they get to talk to one of the more influential wrestlers in the history of sports entertainment. And a very interesting interview it is with Mark asking Mick something no one expected.
Also, it is Halloween time and the guys have decided to really put politics aside hardcore to discuss some scary things. To do this effectively, they invite in the hard to gather DC Chymes to join them and talk about a couple of haunted houses that have decided to take the horror genre to another level. Will Producer Bobby be willing to take one on behalf the team, we will find out.
Then Bill Delaney our favorite movie critic joins us to discuss our top 5 Horror movies you need to see. And trust us, this is not your typical list of movies. Of course there are some classics that made the list, but they are not the main focus. Pay attention to the unique movies on the list that never get talked about. Mark, Bill and Bobby each have their 5 movies that you MUST SEE to enjoy a great lead up to Halloween.
And finally, Mark and Bobby discuss a ghost story from Bobby's past that had hi freaked out to end. Plus instead of being separate, the OVERTIME 142 show is already built in....so you don't have to download a separate file to get all the goodness that is the dirty version. These guys are still taking talk radio and turning it up to 11!

Big Bobby jumps back into the co-hosting seat for another jaunt into the MOD/LIB (swing voter) political world. And boy do the guys have a little bit to talk about.
Seems as though Barack Obama wants to take some missiles, point them at Syria and launch. This all comes on the heels of Syria deciding to use sarin gas against their own people (allegedly). Obama clearly drew the red line a year ago and now he is implementing that aspect and being a man of his word (something the Conservatives hate). Mark and Bobby decide to take on the entire Syria discussion and flush out whether this is a good idea or not. Will it lead to potential World War with Russia chomping at the bit behind the scenes? We will have to see.
Also, Bill Delaney joins the guys to discuss the list of movies coming out this fall and the fact that one of Hollywood's greatest legends is deciding to quietly hang up saddle and retire from acting.
Also there are letters from the Listeners and a strange story regarding a man and his need to use feces while sorting things out with his significant other. Plus Mark and Bobby delve into a discussion about their children and things parents should and shouldn't focus on as they get bigger. Including a couple stories about the first time their children ever got hurt (accidentally of course).
Taking talk radio and turning it up to 11, this is the Q!
On this episode, the prodigal son, Matt Krueger returns from a long hiatus to jump in with Justin and Mark to talk about .....Pro-Wrestling???? Well I guess you can take the fan away from wrestling, but you can't take the wrestling out of the fan. This leads to Mark ranting about people that are on the internet all the time and think they have it all figured out (which they don't). This then leads to a discussion about how media, locally and nationally, only want to promote stories and information regarding people with bad pasts and nefarious associations.
Eventually the talk switches over to Paula Deen who has decided that black people should run around dressed like a slave wait staff from Django Unchained. The talk quickly derails into a thing about whether certain words in our society still have the same feeling and sting that they did many years ago. And what if the words we consider "deragatory" in our culture had a law change them to be okay to use. How would people react?
All this fun, plus a new game called "Who'd you rather hang with", some letters from the listeners and questions for the DOCTOR of LOVE to anwer outright. A very fast paced and fun show!
Real Radio, Real Honest....its the Q!
On this episode of The Q. Mark and Jeremy decide to fly the whole show by themselves discussing everything from what its like to be in the NAVY as well as the two guys horrible weeks. Car crashes and thunderstorms plagued the Midwest and these two were square in the middle of it as Tornadoes took out Mark's power and a wreck (without air bags deploying) almost took out Jeremy.
And the ranting doesn't stop there cause a Scripps National Spelling Bee champion was crowned and Mark doesn't like their introvert styles. Then it becomes a show about Hitlers when they talk about a Father of the Year candidate trying to get his custody rights back and a problem that JC Penny's is currently dealing with.
At this point Mark starts to take some Letters from the Listeners and one question in particular puts the show over the edge when Jeremy starts divulging a story from his military past. And a discussion regarding the recession puts Mark over the edge as he tries to explain how far we are from the economy being good again for the middle class and lower people.
Taking talk radio and turning it up to 11....its THE Q!
