The new Black Panther movie seems to be getting a lot of attention from the Black Community. This has brought up certain feelings within the white community and they have not been quiet about this. So Mark Bland, being the devils advocate he is, decides to bring in comedian Jonathan May to discuss Black culture, racism and this heightened care for a movie that hasn't even been released yet.
Oh but the train don't stop there....This discussion goes into racism and the true backbone that black people think White people don't respect or care about them in 2018.
Joined by Jason kull, this is an exciting episode of the Q that really delves deep into the manners and ideals of our cultures and how they should truly be viewed in our current times. Ain't no hiding in this episode...all the words and feelings are put on the table.
Paris was attacked. It was horrible and horrible people need to be punished for it. But there is more to it than that. Andy Echele joins again to discuss the Paris attacks, it's implications and everything surrounding it. Should we fear ISIS? This is a major question brought up in the show and discussed at length. Is Obama to blame for any of it? This is discussed in detail to.
This all leads to a focus on the Syrian refugees that seem to be a focal point of the hate at this point. Mark and Andy discuss if there is a need for the refugees in the USA. Also, should the US citizens view them in a worried way. Should this wave of terrorism be thrown on the souls of people fleeing Syria just looking for another place to live and not die.
Finally, Mark and Andy get down and dirty cause Mark has been seeing some memes regarding the country's lack of Veteran care in the way of their 50-60,000 homeless former military people. Mark has a serious problem with this cause these stats are being used to promote anti-Refugee vibes and nothing more. Mark finds his muse by reading a piece by Jim Wright (@stonekettle on twitter) regarding his views on this homeless veteran situation. Jim is a former military man himself and veteran.

So there is a group of terrorist in the world and they are letting themselves be known in grand fashion. They are known as Islamic State but the media calls them ISIS. They aren't taking prisoners and playing fair...they are playing for keeps. After beheading two journalist from the USA, the Q decideds to finally jump in and discuss this group and their reasons.
But the Q couldn't have this discussion without having someone of credible backing. And with that being said, the Polar Vortex Dan Walsh made his return after a month or two off to discuss being over in that part of the world and how ISIS should be viewed and what he thinks should be done.
And finally, after missing it on the last show, Mark decides to bring up the fact that Missouri has been ranked as one of the worst states to live in. Making the top 5, Mark, Lucy Mendez and Producer Bobby discuss why they think the state made the list this high. Specifically based off the attitude and actions of people in the St. Louis area as a whole. Then everyone breaksdown the 127 yr old lady from Meixco who is the oldest living person on earth. Amazing the things she has seen and lived through. The Q crew waxes the possible things.

On this episode of the Q, you gotta strap in (on) cause we are gonna get sexual in nature. Professional counselor and sex therapist Lindsay Walden joins the guys for a romp through the world of mental disorders, sexual orientation and a little fun.
Walden is originally from Louisiana but has setup shop in the St. Louis area with her website and practice, Lindsaywalden.com . Lindsay discusses with Mark, Dan and Producer Bobby about the different names for sexual orientation and how valid they are in our culture today.
Also, the guys discuss the situation in Philadelphia where a Ku Klux Clan member is stripped of his neighborhood watch title because of his affiliation with the nefarious group as a Grand Dragon. This sends Mark and Dan on a discussion of whether the US military veteran deserved the decision and how he would react to a counselling session with Lindsay Walden. Hillarity ensues and Lindsay gets to the crux of his "issues".
Also Mark discusses the way police and public pools choose how and who they want to reprimand versus the common rules that they are supposed to play by on a day to day basis. And a major discussion of peanut allergies and their over the top application to everything now is really just a bunch of BS.
Finally in Overtime, Lindsay decides (upon his request), to give our Dan Walsh a little analysis of his problems with women and whether they are superficial or not. Download and hear what she says.

Another week and another amazing show for all the Q fans out there. And trust us, we don't hold back in the least on this episode of the Q.
Mark, Dan and Bobby start off dicussing a little sports, but mostly a list of 10 stereotypes that people from Missouri apply to. Well this sends Mark and Dan off on their soapbox to discuss the stupidity of many hoosier Missouri people and their need to push that hoosier on others around them.
From there the shows really starts to pick up cause the guys are joined by World War 2 veteran and paratrooper James "Jim" Martin (pictured above). The 93 year old joins the guys to discuss what his beliefs on todays USA are, as well as his background in the military and what it was like during the second World War. Jim doesn't pull any punches and lets the guys know that this country has become "pussified" in his opinion and within a few years will become a weakling in the super powers worldwide. Jim also discusses how tough his wife was when pregnant and that is a story you just do not want to miss. An amazing interview for the ages awaits.
Finally, the guys touch on Rush Limbaugh and discuss how Glenn Beck has decided to let everyone know that Liberals were right about the Iraw War. But not before Dan Walsh, Iraq war veteran himself, defends the Iraq War and the soldiers that were over there/are over there against the change in opinion that Mr. Beck has presented. Does Dan present a strong anough case to make you think it was good/bad? Find out by checking out this episode of The Q!
Plus....Overtime, Casey Kasem and a little Game On/Game Off!

The guys are back in full forma after taking time off for Producer Bobby to have a baby and Mark to take a much needed vacation.
They also start back with a bang by adding a new home station, 1380 The X in St. Louis as their base of operations. And new times for the show. 1380= 1-3pm CST (Sundays) and 1420= 9-11am CST (Saturdays). Plus they are joined on this little by none other than their favorite 5 ft tall man with 15 ft tall words, Charles "TalkofSTL" Anderson.
First the guys decide to recap something that happened since the hiatus, the Roller Coaster Race 5k. Even though Bobby and Mark touched on it, Dan Walsh never got his say and it doesn't take much time for him to hit his stride regarding it.
Then the guys are joined by inventor Dan Nietzel from Fighting Chance Solutions. He is a working middle school teacher that doesn't like the fear of gun fire on a daily basis and decided to do some thing about it. So he created "The Sleeve" which is a manual metal sleeving system to go over door arms in class rooms, or any room, and quickly dead bolt a door from being entered. The guys jump on and talk with Dan about his career and the invention that could save thousands of lives some day.
Finally the guys discuss the infamous Bowe Bergdahl case from the past few weeks. The former military man is part of a 1 for 5 trade with the Taliban just to get him out of POW status....But the world of conservatives is up in arms because they claim that Bergdahl, and so do some of his military crew, is anti-USA and a known flake when it comes to situations like this. They all claim he deserted his post and is working with the enemy...so we break it down with our military mind Dan Walsh and get to the truth (or whatever that might look like).

On this episode of the show, Mark, Bobby and Dan Walsh ask the question...Do you crossfit? Unbeknownst to Mark, there is a world of crossfit and attitude associated with the exercising style that Mark and Bobby are not hip to....until Dan Walsh opens their eyes to the entire background of the sport.
This comes on the heels of Mark doing some housekeeping at the front of the show to discuss some social media issues he was having as well discussing the fact that the Benghazi conspiracy should be finished after their last attempt was flushed out by a special senate committee that came back and said it was simply miscommunication and a lack of forethought from the everyone involved...there was no STAND DOWN call ever attempted. On top of that Mark, Dan and Producer Bobby discuss the constant that St. Louis is always making the top "don't be on this list ever" lists and why this keeps happening.
Finally Dan opens up about his military service when the guys start talking about guns in reference to the story of a retired sheriff out of Tampa that killed a man in a movie theater cause the victim threw popcorn at him. The sheriff is claiming the Stand Your Ground defense and the guys discuss whether that is proper that the law be used in this matter as well as the whole pro-gun/anti-gun national debate.

We are talking professional wrestling on the show today. And without missing a beat, former Dynamo Pro Wrestling champion and MTV star Dan Walsh. Dan has been trying to get on the show for a bit and it just so happened that once scheduling worked out, it happened to be on a night Pro Wrestling talk.
First up is Vaughn Johnson of Philly.com . He covers the current state of affairs in Professional wrestling and decided to hook up with Mark, Dan and Producer Bobby to talk about Philly sports, WWE and what were some of Vaughn's thoughts currently and over the past year. Including Vaughn explaining his favorite moment and wrestling match from 2013.
Then the guys bring in one of the most versed people in the history of professional wrestling. David Shoemaker is a writer with DeadSpin and Grantland and the author of "Squared Circle: Life, Death and Pro Wrestling". He comes on to discuss the history of the sport and relay some of his more favorite stories he researched for his book. This includes an amazing story that David tells regarding Hulk Hogan and Harley Race. Its a story that blows the mind of the guys and leads to a discussion on the legitimate toughness of people in the business.
After all that fun, its time to get back to business and Mark discusses the entire "BridgeGate" situation and whether it will truly affect Chris Christie's attempt to become president of the US since he is the GOP front runner currently. Then right into this weeks GAME ON/GAME OFF. Plus a HUGE Overtime (starts on the download as soon as the outro song finishes playing) where Dr. Dan gets his first taste of Letters from the Listeners and Christopher Walken makes a special appearance.

On this episode of The Q. Mark and Jeremy decide to fly the whole show by themselves discussing everything from what its like to be in the NAVY as well as the two guys horrible weeks. Car crashes and thunderstorms plagued the Midwest and these two were square in the middle of it as Tornadoes took out Mark's power and a wreck (without air bags deploying) almost took out Jeremy.
And the ranting doesn't stop there cause a Scripps National Spelling Bee champion was crowned and Mark doesn't like their introvert styles. Then it becomes a show about Hitlers when they talk about a Father of the Year candidate trying to get his custody rights back and a problem that JC Penny's is currently dealing with.
At this point Mark starts to take some Letters from the Listeners and one question in particular puts the show over the edge when Jeremy starts divulging a story from his military past. And a discussion regarding the recession puts Mark over the edge as he tries to explain how far we are from the economy being good again for the middle class and lower people.
Taking talk radio and turning it up to 11....its THE Q!
