Where MSNBC, CNN and many others have failed, the Q delivers. The man that got outted to the national public in the middle of a Missouri Rodeo ring, joins the guys live on this edition of the Q. Tuffy Gessling of the famous rodeo incident with the Obama mask, jumps onto the The Q to answer the tough questions surrounding that day and what/why it happened.
Anthony Cabral, Justin Deming and the return of "PrimeTIme with Mark and Tone" veteran intern Little Bobby jump on for a rollercoaster ride that includes a discussion on why Mark doesn't feel Conservatives should debate/discuss things with him. Also, Tone and Justin get into a great discussion about the decision to have Ben Affleck play Batman in the new "Batman vs. Superman" movie slated to come out in 2015. This leads to a discussion on reboots and whether they are good or bad for the industry and Mark can't seem to get over the name Lex Luger/Luthor.
Finally the guys get to look into some letters from the listeners regarding a babysitting job that might not be all its cracked up to be and a young man worried about dissappointing someone for his "first time". Needless to say, Justin seemed very knowledgable about said "first time" and discussed in a very detailed way what the young man should be looking forward to.
All this and much much more on the this episode of the Q. Real Radio....Real Honest!
On this episode, the prodigal son, Matt Krueger returns from a long hiatus to jump in with Justin and Mark to talk about .....Pro-Wrestling???? Well I guess you can take the fan away from wrestling, but you can't take the wrestling out of the fan. This leads to Mark ranting about people that are on the internet all the time and think they have it all figured out (which they don't). This then leads to a discussion about how media, locally and nationally, only want to promote stories and information regarding people with bad pasts and nefarious associations.
Eventually the talk switches over to Paula Deen who has decided that black people should run around dressed like a slave wait staff from Django Unchained. The talk quickly derails into a thing about whether certain words in our society still have the same feeling and sting that they did many years ago. And what if the words we consider "deragatory" in our culture had a law change them to be okay to use. How would people react?
All this fun, plus a new game called "Who'd you rather hang with", some letters from the listeners and questions for the DOCTOR of LOVE to anwer outright. A very fast paced and fun show!
Real Radio, Real Honest....its the Q!
On this episode of The Q. Mark and Jeremy decide to fly the whole show by themselves discussing everything from what its like to be in the NAVY as well as the two guys horrible weeks. Car crashes and thunderstorms plagued the Midwest and these two were square in the middle of it as Tornadoes took out Mark's power and a wreck (without air bags deploying) almost took out Jeremy.
And the ranting doesn't stop there cause a Scripps National Spelling Bee champion was crowned and Mark doesn't like their introvert styles. Then it becomes a show about Hitlers when they talk about a Father of the Year candidate trying to get his custody rights back and a problem that JC Penny's is currently dealing with.
At this point Mark starts to take some Letters from the Listeners and one question in particular puts the show over the edge when Jeremy starts divulging a story from his military past. And a discussion regarding the recession puts Mark over the edge as he tries to explain how far we are from the economy being good again for the middle class and lower people.
Taking talk radio and turning it up to 11....its THE Q!
Well when the powers that be decide that its okay to have a BLACK ONLY historical college, Mark and Justin discuss the ability for a WHITE ONLY college or school is an option. And all this because a fan decided to write a question that they thought would be good to ask...sheesh!
But before they get there, Mark and Justin welcome SAL WOODS on to the show to discuss his upcoming MMA Match for the MMA Federation in St. Louis on June 22nd.
Also, the guys welcome Bill Delaney again to talk about the new Star Trek: Into the Darkness movie that he just watched. Mark is excited to hear about this, but they never quite get there since the talk turns to remakes and re-imaginings in Hollywood. They guys all talk abou their favorite and least favorite remakes of all time. So do you think yours was mentioned...listen and find out.
Real Radio, Real Honest.....its the Q! Taking talk radio and turning it up to 11!
Mark had to quiet the nattering nabob that was Justing Deming from a past Overtime show where the two argued about the 1st amendment of the constitution and separation of church and state. So to put a nail in the coffin once and for all, Mark called to talk with Constituional Attorney BRIAN VANYO to answer some of the questions that popped up in the best Overtime Episode EVER!
After that, Mark, Jeremy, Greg T and Joe Licious settle in for three segments discussing intenet meme fame and how it can be deadly. Facebook and how people interact relationship wise on the show. A little about the past and how this generation is different through communication than prior ones, and then....
The guys get into a discussion about Toronto Mayor Rob Ford and how there is an Indiegogo page setup in the attempt to get money together to pay off a guy to release a video of the Mayor smoking crack. Its extortion with no winners and guy that has no recourse...especially when 10,000 people are donating money to watch him get his ass handed to him. Is this right, or proper. Should the intentions be as clear as they are? And will this lead to a new style of paparrazi or extortion for the coming years... We discuss it all!
REAL RADIO, REAL HONEST.....ITS THE Q!
Well the proverbial sh-t hit the fan this week as the Benghazi situation released some emails and they seemed...at first...to show a coverup of mass proportions. But it was bascially a scam by Regressives trying to hate on the POTUS. But then the game changed when the IRS decided to release information regarding their outright refusal to accept applications from conservative based groups. Self admission is a pain way to go, but they went there and so did Mark, Justin and Jeremy when they took on the discussion this epsidoe.
Next who better to join them and make his return to the show than the gloating and spotlight hungry Travis Cook. Travis comes on to explain how one conspiracy theory (they didn't even knew existed) makes them all valid.
Finally, Rolling Stone recently took a readers poll of the worst bands of the 1990's...and some surprising names showed up on the list. The guys discuss. Its the Q.....Real Radio, Real Honest!
Well the world is full of scumbags and douches and there are three men in the St. Louis, MO area ready to take on all of them. Two are your wonderful hosts Mark Bland and Justin Deming.... the other just happens to be KMOV (St. Louis CBS Affiliate) Investigative reporter Chris Nagus . The hometown kid made good, joins the guys to discuss coming up in the journalism business over the past decade and some of his more glorious trimphs of defeating idiots.
Then the guys are joined by none other than Jerome Cusson of PWPonderings.com to discuss the fallout of mass proportions on the heels of a twitter message goen crazy from ROH World Heavyweight Champ Jay Briscoe. It all comes from the Delaware House choosing to support Gay Marriage. Well lets say Mr. Briscoe went a little overboard in his thoughts and opinions. They talk in depth with Jerome to get to the bottom and figure out what should be done.
Plus there were three girls that were found in Cleveland this past week after 10 years of being kidnapped by some derranged men (Boston Bombing what???). They discuss the event and the unlikely hero Charles Ramsey.
Its time for the Q....taking talk radio and turning it up to 11! And don't miss the Overtime 121 cause it was the most hotly contested discussion that Mark and Justin ever get in to.
Mark and Justin are starting this weeks show off with the breakdown of the new budget plan proposed by the POTUS. Including raising the minimum wage to $9. All sound good and the guys discuss why Obama is so willing to work across the aisle since the way he was treated in the 2012 election by the vitriolic TEA PARTY and CONSERVATIVE members of Capitol Hill. This leads to discussion on the generational gap between the people that are hurting and the ones that have money. This leads to a letter from a listener about the whole "It takes a village mentality" that seems to be missing in 2013.
Then the discussion switches to new things that Mark Learned in the past week regarding everything from Mt. Everest to Mr. Rogers. And the two touch on the fact that Jeremy's challenge from Travis Cook was accepted.
Finally the show is rounded out by a discussion of Narcissism and Racism. The borderline vernacular people use to skirt their racist tendencies and where the line between a word that was once racist becomes desensitized to the population and becomes part of the common everyday speech.
Its time for THE Q....Taking talk radio and turning it up to 11!
On this edition of the Q, Mark , Justin and Jeremy are joined by Chris Orndoff of HeadMetal Comics to discuss his upbringing in Hawaii, how comics have affected his life and where the idea for HeadMetal.
But before that entertaining slice of heaven with Chris, the guys break down this North Korea thing a little deeper since the rhetoric is heating up and creating a very vitriolic state of mind in SouthEast Asia.
And the guys finish up with their Wrestlemania 29 predictions as they do every single year. And for some reason, Justin decides to lay his new found love on the line...will it be accepted? Listen and find out!

On this episode of The Q, Mark and Justin are phoning it in (literally) this week since they are not broadcasting live on the syndicated feed. And the first order of business is to discuss the new television show "The Bible" and how with the THOUSANDS of actors in hollywood and around the world, they were able to find the ONE guy that looked like POTUS Obama and cast him as SATAN in the Television show (claiming it was sheer coincidence).
Plus those companies are at it again and Mark points out that some of them are going to punish financially people that do not go along with wellness testing for insurance. Then the show gets into discussing the music business in 2013 and whether distribution in the early days comparable to today. Are we better off without the strong hand of major record labels running the business, or are we now left with the shell of a music business where its easy to get everything and there is no intrinsic value to the content any further.
Finally there is no overtime, so the boys decide to do the next round of the IO9 March TV Madness Tournament of SCi-Fi shows. We are into the 32 and the competition is getting a bit harder.
All this and much more on THE Q! Taking Talk Radio and turning it up to 11.
