Another week and another great episode of the Q is here for the pleasure of the world. And this weeks guest is no slouch when it comes to radio, being a former on air talent with the DC and the Family morning show...so welcome Jesse Barban.
This weeks show starts up on a down note with the news of WWE Ultimate Warrior, who was recently inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame, passing away in a very weird and unseen fashion. The guys discuss the history of the Ultimate Warrior. How he was influential to their careers in wrestling (Mark and Dan Walsh) and how eerie the final speech he gave on Monday Night Raw was in regards to the timing of his death.
Next the guys jump in and discuss the history of Jesse and his work in radio. Jesse worked with DC and the Family as an on air talent and has since taken a position with Apple. Jesse lets everyone know that his history with DC and radio date back to an old Steve and DC Halloween show where some land that his family owns was used for the show that year. This brings up a early part in Mark's career and how he was involved with the said radio show the night it emulated from the McPike Mansion in Alton, IL.
From there the men go down two separate paths. Mark received a letter from a listener complaining about the economic recovery and how long it has taken. Mark and Dan Walsh tear into the listener for being overly focused on the wrong things and how they play no part in the recovery in 2014. Next they discuss the decision of a foreign man to get a McDonald's receipt tattooed on his arm and whether this is a good/bad thing. Plus Bobby makes HUGE GUEST announcement for the next show.
Finally some GAME/GAME OFF and of course OVERTIME* that comes on after the show goes off the air. This is what you been waiting for...another episode of the Q!
