On this epsiode of The Q, Mark Bland and Producer Bobby breakdown a story from Oregon about police officers taking down a hardened criminal that is NINE YEARS OLD. Evidently having a scuffle on the playground at 9 is too much for some to deal with and they need to take it to the next level.
Also, Mark and Bobby got some great feedback regarding doing letters from the listeners on the show last time, so they dive into another batch including stories about: Mothers getting alcohol as a Mothers Day gift and whether that is appropriate; What if you best friend saw a private "sexy" picture of your new boy/girlfriend, would you be hesitant to introduce them to your BFF? That and many others on the show this week.
Next Bobby had a serious pile on situation with Facebook regarding a Sandy Hook story. He started to get attcked perosnally for having an opinion that was different than the maority in the discussion and was chastized for that. We discuss the story, the reactions and the reasons for and against Bobby's opinion and why it was such big deal.
Finally we have a little talk about how Russia is deciding to kill off the value of the American Dollar in their trading which potentially could send the US and other nations into a state of hyper inflation if they get enough outside support for such a move. We talk as a nation about "not caring abotu them" and that we are "the best country in the world"....so what happens when everyone stops thinking that and de-values your money internationally to the point that companies in your own coutnry have to overcharge for eveything to keep up? We discuss in depth.
