Oh Hawaii! That beautiful state where you can be a police officer and do things no other state can do! Once again Dan Walsh is MIA with Vladimir Putin putting on amazing shows around the world, but that doesn't stop Mark and Bobby from digging in arms deep to the whole Hawaii situation with their cops being able to legally have sex.
Next up, the guys take some letters from the listeners and try to has through some of their more pressing issues. Things like: What if a neighbors fruit falls into my yard and I use it, do I have to ask their permission to have it? Or something like.....I got a girlfriend who is sure we are going to get pregnant and have a baby soon, she feels she deserves a mothers day gift, should I get her one? Think deep and hard about those and the other questions presented on the show.
Finally, Mark has decided to jump in feet first and discuss the value of country music in 2014. Find out what he is ranting about in regards to their constant need to sing about things in the most simplistic terms and from time periods they never lived in. Do we still go dirt road dancing in 2014...he thinks not! Plus another week and Game ON/Game OFF is back and in full effect.

Another week and another great episode of the Q is here for the pleasure of the world. And this weeks guest is no slouch when it comes to radio, being a former on air talent with the DC and the Family morning show...so welcome Jesse Barban.
This weeks show starts up on a down note with the news of WWE Ultimate Warrior, who was recently inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame, passing away in a very weird and unseen fashion. The guys discuss the history of the Ultimate Warrior. How he was influential to their careers in wrestling (Mark and Dan Walsh) and how eerie the final speech he gave on Monday Night Raw was in regards to the timing of his death.
Next the guys jump in and discuss the history of Jesse and his work in radio. Jesse worked with DC and the Family as an on air talent and has since taken a position with Apple. Jesse lets everyone know that his history with DC and radio date back to an old Steve and DC Halloween show where some land that his family owns was used for the show that year. This brings up a early part in Mark's career and how he was involved with the said radio show the night it emulated from the McPike Mansion in Alton, IL.
From there the men go down two separate paths. Mark received a letter from a listener complaining about the economic recovery and how long it has taken. Mark and Dan Walsh tear into the listener for being overly focused on the wrong things and how they play no part in the recovery in 2014. Next they discuss the decision of a foreign man to get a McDonald's receipt tattooed on his arm and whether this is a good/bad thing. Plus Bobby makes HUGE GUEST announcement for the next show.
Finally some GAME/GAME OFF and of course OVERTIME* that comes on after the show goes off the air. This is what you been waiting for...another episode of the Q!
*OVERTIME HAS EXPLICIT CONTENT, PLEASE USE PARENTAL GUIDANCE
DJ Gelner makes his triumphant return to the Q to discuss his new book "Rogue" and his other one "The Big Book of Hobby Ideas" . Gelner joins the guys to discuss what his favorite hobbies were to investigate, as well as, the hobbies that lived up to his expectations of NOT SO GOOD.
Then its on to discussing the new list of HORRIBLE STATES to live in. Mark has been very up front over the years that he believes St. Louis (the home base of the show) is not a very quality place reagrdless of the things that locals try and say to pump it up....well does the list justfy his beliefs?
Then it is on to dicuss the Susan G. Komen organization and a few others that have some nefarious background to their running. Mark was in a discussion with another friend in media when it was brought to his attention that the charity takes in a certain amount of "donations" per year that go to suing other charities as opposed to being use to fund cancer research (as is their claim). Producer Bobby, Dan Walsh, Mark and DJ discuss the impact this has and what the legal thoughts and policies are on this.
Next its time to talk OSCARS! They are upon us and there are a ton of great movies up for the big one. They break down the categories and pick some winners. And finally it is time for another edition of GAME ON/GAME OFF. With that happening, DAN WALSH is not having it this week. He is extremely unhappy about a section of people that exist in the world and evidently Dan runs in to these people quite often. Plus there is a an OVERTIME where the discussion continues based off emails from last weeks Game On/Game off of Bobby bringing up assisted suicide of terminal children in Belgium. Where do the guys stand on this topic? Check out OVERTIME to find out.

Mark and the guys start by discussing the superbowl bet and Andy's unwillingness to be in a fantasy football league with Mark. From there the focus shifts to black fraternities and some of the Super Bowl commercials that our on the top of each persons list. Upon the heels of that, everyone gets into a discussion about the Coca Cola commercial and whether the message that conservatives are complaining about was really there or not.
Next the men take on the news story about DMX and his challenger in a upcoming celebrity Boxing match. By beating this man, DMX could become the champion of a section of America. Will he pull it off? Also a discussion about little people and the USPS getting into potential BITCOIN atm's.
Finally everyone brings in their GAME ON/GAME OFF for the week. Tax services, Old school video games and disgust towards lottery people and the city of St. Louis is on the table for the largest Game on/Game off that has ever been on the Q!

Oh the holidays are on us for 2013 and its time for us to start getting together and eating. Well nothing makes you feel more holiday oriented than desserts...and especially PIES! Well Mark has the top ten holiday pies of all time and he, along with Tony Kozina and Matt Krueger (and of course Producer Bobby) are going to break down the list and man does it get a little heated!
Also, with two special guests you know that Mark is gonna talk some politics and without fail him and Matt start into each other. Mark discusses the in ability of certain members of society to handle themselves in the new world of social media since they keep taking things and putting them on the internet. Case in point is this weeks "round table rant" as the men discuss the waitress in NY/NJ that lied about a couple not tipping her and leaving a note. How much more often is this happening and what should be our stance as a society is discussed. Plus the USA is not the most powerful nation anymore and Mark tries explaining to Matt how we should not try and force our will upon on other nations that don't respect or care about us anyway.
Finally there is a few more stories, Letters from the Listeners and GAME ON/GAME OFF (a new section of the show that is catching a lot of ears). So tune in and enjoy all the fun plus some extra OVERTIME after the main show where MATT and TONY play Dr. Love's (2 for the price of 1).
On this episode of The Q, Mark and Bobby are joined by the cast of Bare Knuckle Comedy troupe out of St. Louis. Sherman Doyle and Christian jump in to talk about the ACA and what life was like growing up in the 1990's before DVR's existed and you had to watch OJ Simpson running away from police live on the TV or you missed it.
Also Mark is at it again with a rant about other radio shows and how they try to portray themselves as multiple things. Of course this leads to a more general discussion about how people do this on a day to day in music and entertainment claiming they are "artists" but they really are only doing it as a hobby.
Finally the men get around to discussing the beginnings to the BKC and there success till now. A little about their upcoming shows and their opinions of the best comedians in the STL area. All this and BNN with Producer Bobby, another installment of GAME ON/GAME OFF and some letters from the listeners. Plus another 45 mins of unaired fun with the guys during the OVVERTIME section after the main show that you get in the download. And all this for FREE! You can't beat that. Enjoy!
On this episode of the show, DJ GELNER decides to jump into the foray with Mark and Producer Bobby and talk a little authoring and selling within the literary section of our world. Gelner is the author of "Jesus was a Time Traveler" and "Hack: The Complete Game" . Gelner discusses the process he goes through to sit down and write, where his love came from and what he is working on. Plus Mark creates a new pen-name for him to start suthoring under and without a doubt its going to sell a lot of books.
Then Mark discusses his problem with people in 2013 and their need to constantly think they have eveything figured out. He talks about a conversation he had with someone discussing the Afforcable Care Act and how the person was just uneducated about the helthcare legislation and everything surrounidng it. This leads to a conversation about this same mindset being prevalent in the conservative party and them being "google educated" about all the things they wanna dislike.
Finally, there is a little BNN (Bobby News Network) and a small discussion about the Richie Incognito deal and a New Mexico traffic stop stop that ended with a colonoscopy....A COLONOSCOPY! Also, the guys debut a new segement on the show called GAME ON/GAME OFF to hip you to new and interesting things while also telling you to quit doing dumb other things. Plus letters from the listeners and some interesting questions too. Its time for another awesome edition of THE Q...REAL RADIO, REAL HONEST!
