HD REEVES jumps back on the show to tlak comedy and what going on in his life. The biggest story of the show is the two new police shootings that have to be discussed and Mark makes a plea deal, hopefully the world will listen....find out what it is.
Next up, HD and Mark decide to tackle the fact that Trump is starting to make a move in the polls and what it means for us as a nation. Plus HD has some great road stories and the guys read a letter from a listener which is always good too.

Well Vitaly has been in the country since December and its time for him and his wife to make that fateful trip back to the USSR here in a week. But before he goes, Mark decides to bring him onto the show one more time to talk about Donald Trump, The Brussel's Attacks and the value of living in 2016. But he forced us to have Proucer Bobby on the show too if he came on...begrudgingly we said OK.
First up is a fun filled rant from Mark. Being a father and family man, Mark understands the value of a Family LockerRoom at a local pool. Evidently the people at the new complex in a local STL municipality do not appreciate the value of said family sized things and spent all their money not making proper accomodations in Mark's opinion.
Next up Mark discusses the Brussels Attack and how he feels that it might have been deterred if two things happen:
1. focus on why they are choosing these french speaking areas to attack
2. Start being more judgmental of the people in their country and start using a little profiling to tighten up the ranks. Not negative stereotyping, but focusing on similarities that lead to dangerous situations.
Finally Mark, Bobby and Vitaly discuss the Donald Trump phenomenon and how our society in the USA kinda created this vitriolic rheotric and attitude. Explaining why Trump seems to reasonate with the base of voters that love him. And also discussing the potential for the convention to be contested.

http://traffic.libsyn.com/theqnow/Episode_255_-_St._Maddys_Day.mp3Oh its the 255th ep. of the show and there are so many things going on, its impossible to figure them all out.
First up, Marco Rubio has dropped out of the Primaries (for now) and is watiing till the convention comes along to see who walks out of the convention as the Republican nominee.
Next up, St. Louis Comedian Jon Maddy joins to wax poetic about the STL comedy scene. He and Mark discuss how actors like the Rock and Johhny Knoxville should be viewed within the world of Stand up comedy. They also talk about Louis CK and others within the business and whether they have comedy writers working with them at this point to help them stay on top.
Next the guys breakdown how this election will go down and how there is need for the GOP to unify or else they will split the vote and walk Hillary right into the presidency. A lot of this is from the fact that people think Trump is polarizing and originally thought that Obama was the "most polarizing person of all time". Mark feels this stems from the super sensitive nature and emotional inability of many conservative voters in the country.
Fianlly, Mark and Jon do the HOT SEAT for Jon and they do a little Over Time where they take on the famous Moral Dilemmas.

Well all good things, or in this case bad things, should come to an end. Mark, our host, is not happy with his recent visit to the Sprint Store by his house in North STL county. He had a very bad discussion with one of their reps that is supposed to do everything to maintain customer engagement and representing the company in a positive light...and that didin't happen. So theres that story.
The rest of the crew discusses the release of the CIA torture documents and Dan Walsh brings his security clearance to the table to discuss the story and whether there is or isn't a ton of truth to the release of the documents. Then the guys take on some letters from the listeners where they discuss their favorite Christmas gifts that they ever got (and their worst). Plus people want to know what movie the guys have walked out on in the past
Finally the guys hammer out a good ol GAME ON/GAME OFF. Producer Bobby just seems to never learn and presents one that he has presented in the past (almost a year ago at this time). Mark brings a very interesting game off on the heels of the Victoria Secret fashion show and he doesn't disappoint people that like the lottery in his game on. Dan discusses a TV show you should all get locked into and then is not happy about a certain type of person in the world. Find out all of this and more on this episode of The Q.

Oh does the Q have a treat for all of you! On this amazing episode Mark and the crew are get a visit from Julia Gordon-Bramer the Tarot reader that has been blazing trails in psychic ability for many years! Mark orginally tells Producer Bobby that he is interested in getting someone with psychic ability to come on the show and do future readings for the cast...and without fail, Bobby finds Julia that fast!
Julia is from Washington, DC and the crew gets into discussing her background and a little bit about some psychic ability within Mark's family. From there, the show is joined by a familiar caller to Julia who jumps on to get a reading about her relationship she is involved in. It might not have been the best place since Mark, Bobby, Dan and the returning Lucy Mendez jump in to offer up funny insights of how she should interpret the reading that Julia gives to her.
Next up its time for the Q crew to get their readings and it is freakily spot on. Dan is told he is all about making his own way in the world and he authenticates that. Then Lucy is poised for some business changes in her world. Bobby is going to be taking a trip and Mark seems to be hitting his stride in his career. But all of that was unknown to Julia and with Lucy showing up last minute, there is no way for Julia or the show to know she was coming (so they definitely cold readings). Very entertaining and fun episode with a hint of Business Ethics at the beginning!

Oh the annual Halloween show is upon us and even though this year didn't go specifically as planned, there is still a fantastic show (with OVERTIME) for you to sink your teeth into!
The show starts with Janice Tremeear, the author of the Haunted Route 66 books to discuss her favorite stories and how she entered into the world of writing about spirits and ghosts. Janice tells that her favorite story isn't even one she's written in any books. So of course that puts Producer Bobby on edge immediately.
From there, the team jumps in discussing their Ghost stories. Producer Bobby discusses an eerie story that happens every year on a family members death date. Dan Walsh imparts a tale about the TV in his bedroom and a very interesting figure that appears since he was a kid. And Mark throws down two stories. One about the caverns of the Lemp Brewery and a top hatted man that him and a friend encountered one night. As well as a story about a shotgun house in South City that sits in the shadow of the Alexian Brothers old hospital (where the EXORCIST was based).
Then on with some show business as the talk of Child Molester dating Mama June from Honey Boo Boo grabs the attention of the show and Mark makes a heartfelt plea to not elect any Tea Party candidates on the November 4th elections. Finally they wrap up discussing their favorite horror movies and a little overtime with a "pleasure bullet" that you don't want to miss. All this and much more on the HALLOWEEN 2014 episode of The Q....Real Radio, Real Honest!

On this episode of the Q, Mark, Bobby and Dan are joined by Jeremy Hellwig of the "Sorry Please Continue" comedy show. Jeremy joins the show to discuss the show, his life behind the scenes and his time he spent in China teaching English. Of course, when the chinese fans of the Q find out, they want to interact with Jeremy and discuss some chinese things. Then Mark talks about a situation at a Haunted house where the clowns decided that it was sexy time when it clearly wasn't.
Then the show moves on to discussing Veterans and whether they earn the rights and "extras" that they get in society after returning. Mark and Dan get into a discussion of parking spaces and the veterans that don't necessarily do the work that garners that true "veteran" status. This is all because Dan brings up a story about how Michael Savage verbally destroyed veterans on his show recently. Also Producer Bobby doesn't agree with Marks thoughts on waiting till late in your 20's to get married, so that turns into something too!
Finally there is some discussion regarding the special Halloween show (next episode) and then there are also some oddities that happen through the broadcast. Mark hears them but the others don't. This freaks out Bobby who tells a story from earlier in the day regarding a suspicious individuals going around the station. All this and much more on The Q!

Brittany Maynard is 29 years old and has a terminal brain disease. She has decided that on November 1, 2014 she will end her life in Oregon with a pill that is allowed to be taken in the state as a part of self euthanasia. No doctor can help her, but they are allowed to be present during the moment. Maynard moved her entire family from San Francisco up to Oregon to take advantage of the law that allows her to proceed with such a decision. Well on the heels of this situation, the discussion about people being allowed to take their own life as long as the decision is made by them of sound mind, is now back in the national spotlight and The Q crew takes it on directly. Where do you stand on people taking their own life? Listen and hear the emotional discussion that accompanies this story.
Also the team talks about Marks unbelievable WALMART trip that ended with him yelling at a store manager....listen and find out how badly (legitimately) a store employee stepped over the line of decency and couthe. Plus this leads to a discussion about other cast members bad experiences in places of business. See who has had it bad in the past!
Finally we get a visit from our favorite world leader (who also tends to be drunk) Vallory Putin [sic], Bobby has another game of "When was this" and the guys/lady discuss some of the urban legends and unsolved mysteries that have enthralled them over the years. And don't forget OverTime!

On this grand occasion of the Q, the crew is joined by none other than Greg Vanover to discuss the Soulard Wing Ding 2014. Greg brings in some of his special, and delicious, golden wings. Greg discusses his involvement in the business of restaurants and how the Wing Ding was formulated. This naturally has Dan praising the management skills of Greg for his "not firing/kicking out" of a really hot girl in the past at a restaurant on main street in St. Charles, MO.
Next the Riverfront Times put out their BEST OF ST. LOUIS 2014 list (a list Mark was nominated for as best AM radio personality) and unfortunately Mark did not win. So Mark takes it upon himself to discuss with everyone why he feels he lost and congratulates the winner of his category, which happens to be another on-air personality at the home station for the Q, 1380 The X. Mark gets into discussing that the other show lays pretty heavy on the homosexual contingent in STL and that the fix was in as the gay community came out in full to support one of their own.
Next Mark sits down on the phone and talks with #1 UFC Flyweight contender Chris Cariaso about his upcoming fight with UFC Champ Demetirus Johnson and the long trip to get to the top of fight game.
Finally Lucy has been throwing in quips throughout the show and seems to be a little more lively with her words than normal. Upon further investigation, the Queen of Sass decided to have a few glasses of Pinot before she got to the show and the guys catch on. Lucy slowly continues to crackwise and make the guys realize she is a little more tipsy than originally thought. All in good fun, Lucy cusses and rambles on about multiple stories, but nothing shines quite the way her GAME ON/GAME OFF shines during the show. All this an much more on this episode of The Q!

So there is a group of terrorist in the world and they are letting themselves be known in grand fashion. They are known as Islamic State but the media calls them ISIS. They aren't taking prisoners and playing fair...they are playing for keeps. After beheading two journalist from the USA, the Q decideds to finally jump in and discuss this group and their reasons.
But the Q couldn't have this discussion without having someone of credible backing. And with that being said, the Polar Vortex Dan Walsh made his return after a month or two off to discuss being over in that part of the world and how ISIS should be viewed and what he thinks should be done.
And finally, after missing it on the last show, Mark decides to bring up the fact that Missouri has been ranked as one of the worst states to live in. Making the top 5, Mark, Lucy Mendez and Producer Bobby discuss why they think the state made the list this high. Specifically based off the attitude and actions of people in the St. Louis area as a whole. Then everyone breaksdown the 127 yr old lady from Meixco who is the oldest living person on earth. Amazing the things she has seen and lived through. The Q crew waxes the possible things.
All this and much more available on this episode of the award nominated radio show out of St. Louis MO.....The Q!
