This all started with a CNN reporter asking Donald Trump about information regarding a rumor about Russia and Trump Tower meetings. On that day, Trump called it FAKE NEWS and said CNN was liars. And from then on, everyone chastised CNN and liberal news sources as liars that always put out fake stories.
Cut to this past Sunday...Donald Trump goes on Twitter and tells everyone that the meeting did happen with Russia and his son was there, AND it was a meeting to get info on Hillary during the election. Well meeting with people to get dirt on the opponent is not illegal. But when you tell us CNN lies for 2 years and then you admit you actually lied and CNN was right...now we know you're purposely swaying the information to your advantage. Which is Total BS.
Mark is joined by Jonathan May and Gary Weed to discuss this new information and break down what it means for the country. But during the convo, a conversation from off air re-enters the room. And again it has racial implications. Mark feels that Jonathan and black culture is playing too much off things from the Civil War to justify actions in 2018. Jonathan claims that it is fair to do that. See where you stand at the end of this epic discussion!
Race relations are huge topic on the minds of everyone in the US during these two volatile weeks in Ferguson, MO after the shooting death of a young man by a police officer. But that's where all the other media outlets stop and The Q starts.
After watching hours of Town Hall meetings and Black/White race relations programming on news channels throughout the country trying to capitalize on the popularity of a sad story....Mark Bland has decided that ENOUGH WEAK DISCUSSIONS IS ENOUGH. The world is not going to get anywhere until the people can be blatantly honest with each other when discussing the topic of black/white relations in the US since Civil Rights. So he put a call into two of his friends to come on the show and discuss not only race relations, but to also take up the flag of defense for 2 hours and defend the black culture. First Mark is joined by Corey "Slo-Down" Edwards a former member famed music group The St. Lunatics. Coming from the rough streets of Wellston,MO to touring the world and eating the best foods available, Corey has done it all and seen what its like to be pushed around and then have those same people want your autograph.
Next Mark is joined by Darryl Frierson, the host of Straight Outta Lo Cash and a civil activist. When it comes to discussing Black and White opinions, Mark and Darryl have gone round and round on both his show and The Q discussing these things. Darryl is extremely opinionated and has spent a majority of the time, as well as Slo-Down, down in the Ferguson area during the protests of the past few weeks.
